Johnson Viking 4740 AM/SSB Radio and Base Module. They still didnt fix the problem! 🤦‍♂️🤔🤷‍♂️

Hi all lets take a look at the Johnson Viking 40 channel AM/SSB CB radio and base module.
If they had of just moved the bloody mic input!

I remember that radio, but not in the base station configuration.
If I recall, those radios were usually mounted above the driver, in the middle, near the rear vision mirror. Seems like U.S. truck drivers liked that configuration, and worked both side drive.
That's why the microphone socket was at the back of the radio, no sharp bends and it hung down at a reasonable angle.
