As always.. love the video... If my memory serves me correctly there is a secondary road from Providence that would take you to Beauregard... In Morne Longue... After the bridge.. you will meet a "Y".. the left will take you Morne Longue and the right will take you to Windsor, Closier, Brothers on to Gouyave... I remember most of these back roads from my bread selling days after Hurricane Ivan... We use to go on these secondary roads to sell bread directly to the community instead of the shops..lol
I don’t know the country area very well tbh so I can’t tell you if your memory is right or not. My uncle is from the countryside so he helped me with information when there weren’t signs available. I’m glad the video brought back so many happy memories and that you enjoyed it so much 😊😊

Different people speak differently and of course it depends on the context in which you are speaking. Sometimes I speak in more of a dialect and other times I speak proper English.
Still quite green for the dry season I must say. I guess somebody discarded some ornamental Japanese-style koi carp fish into that crater lake. I noticed several large ones, bright orange/gold with black and white. I guess it's okay as long as they haven't out-competed any native fish species in the same waters. I'm always curious how a private concern can be allowed to build a business on land that belongs to the nation (such as a park) then *charge admission* of those same citizens to partake and enjoy the beauty of their own native environment using a rubber tube or a zip line or whatever. The added activity has to cost I understand but, when they actually fence off access and make people pay to just enter?? That should be going towards national park revenue I hope. See you in Part 2.
Hmmm I’m not too sure how it works regarding the private businesses in areas like that tbh but I suppose that in order for them to make enough money to remain in business they have to charge you, though in some cases they charge too much. Yeah it’s still pretty green. We have some rainy days like today and yesterday so that helps.

Oh no we never have to pay to go to the lake. There’s a guard at the front but it’s just to have an idea of who’s going in. The paying to park is for Seven Sisters Falls, not for the lake. The lake is free for all, I believe. I’ve never paid at least 🙈 I think you pay if you want a guide to walk around the area with you or to use the washroom facilities. Stuff like that.
