I’m totally gonna do this for him to put in his comic book room but I wanna make a closet with a door that opens and has the suit hanging in there. (Not sure how to pull that off but I’m gonna give it a try. Thanks for the wonderful idea!!!
You can do it! Making the door is the hardest part (and it's really not that hard). Adding a closet behind it is no worries. The suit...Textile is not my medium, but a hanging suit shouldn't be too bad.
Once again... NAILED IT!! Not sure where to begin with this one 🤯 there is so much to love and be awe struck! @@queencityminis that will be fantastic! I can't remember if it was your or another channel where I saw the googly eye dresser pulls idea! When I saw it, 😱🤯 was my exact reaction LOL 😂! I’m 6 minutes in and I had to pause so I could get on my tablet and comment. I love this, and love how you came up with the door locks and the drawer pulls. I love everything about this. I think it’s so much more fun to figure out how to make something instead of buy it. You give inspire me so much.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I got the idea for making the lock from miniaturists who use styrene plastic for crafting. An oatmeal lid was a good enough substitute. If you look closely at the drawer pulls, I accidentally melted them a little 😬 I dried the paint with my heat gun and wasn't paying attention. Just a couple extra seconds deformed them a bit. Nothing too noticeable!
wow, starting strong with that amazing door, and it just doesn't stop ... the outlets! all those books! the pencil! the toaster oven was so real I cringed when you put your finger inside it because I was like 'ew, what a gross greasy toaster oven'. Everything you make and the way you make it is amazing. I love everything you do.

I just kept saying, “ WOW!” Throughout the whole video! I’ve watched all your videos where you have made some of these components and loved them. But seeing this all put together as a whole scene is absolutely amazing! And I love how you use everyday things that anyone can find. You inspire me so much. I look forward to all your videos and have saved several for future reference. You amaze me, Shyra!
I totally understand about trying to condense soooooooo much time into a short video, but well done! I am happy to see the final vision of those seemingly random videos. You really made it look like his apartment!
I wonder if any of you were ever wondering why I was making odd things like a red chair (I made it red just for that thumbnail, knowing it needed to be painted beige/brown) and a toaster oven 😆
what an a amazing skill, not to mention an amazing imagination. I have learned so much from this one video and it has helped me think outside the box. Something I reuse a lot are 'mother-boards from old computers/printers etc. They contain such a variety of small components, that I can always find something teh right size to represent something in one of my projects. You just have to find a computer shop that has a lot of old computers that they just dump. I picked up 3 computers and a monitor/display screen today. Amazingly, the monitor provided a myriads of items that I wasn't expecting. It was like Christmas all over again!
Hi, I don't think there are many useable components inside a laptop., but I have never looked inside one. The part you want is called a mother boards , that is where all the cool 'bits' are! Printers are also a goof source of items that can be used in dioramas, depending on the type of dioramas you build of course. Check some larger computer repair places and see if they can at least give you an old computer that they were only going to throw out, or at least just a mother board. I picked up a few computers from a place that specializes in communication equipment. Happy hunting!@@queencityminis
Thank you. ❤ This is amazing. I am amazed at your skills at turning bits into something. I appreciate how you are perfect with the imperfections of your amazing creations. Your ideas make everything doable. We don't need to spend a fortune on printers, machines, cutters and other expensive things. I've got a box on the shelf and any bits and bobs that look interesting go right in there for later use. The only things I purchased are the angle shears, good tweezers with pointy ends, pointy small scissors, and some tiny glass items because I'm doing a laboratory in my house and think they will be fun. Thanks for filming even those tiny insignificant things like power points... I hope my rooms turn out half as good as this!
Thank you so much! I couldn't agree more. You can make minis from very simple materials and methods and still make something great. I hope you enjoy making your project :) I made an abandoned miniature lab in a book with "slides" on the desk a from plastic and a little box to hold the slides. This is such a big project, I'll haveto rewatch the video several times to appreciate everything :D
I added captions in case people want a bit of instruction.
I prefer videos like this to have no voiceover so it doesn't take you out of the meditative nature of watching a project start to finish.
Thank you for watching 😊
The amount of detail paid to the door alone made me swoon! awesome work :)
Glad you liked it! I love the door so much
Absolutely amazing creative miniature concepts and designs. Your imagination is incredible. I love miniatures. I’m no longer able to create any miniatures, I’ve developed sight impairment disease. So far it doesn’t prevent me from watching your incredible designs.
Thank for sharing ❤❤❤❤
I'm so glad you're still enjoying minis! Thank you so much for watching 😊
Holy moly those tiny pencils 😮
I have made toothpick pencils, but they're technically out of scale (too big). I love the tiny pencil and pen I made :)
This is amazing. Holy crap! I'm thinking of a 3D model of Tobey's Peter Parker's apartment. These are great references! Do you mind if I take screenshots and come back to this video in the near future. Please leave these videos up. Don't ever remove them ❤
That's cool! Yes, that's fine. I have individual tutorials for many of the components.

love love love miniatures and making things
You and me both!
I watch in awe of your creations, without doubt you're amazing and an inspiration! ❤
Thank you so much 😀 I appreciate that
Absolutely love this build! My goodness, the amount of detail!! I do really miss your voiceover though.
Thank you! I'll keep doing my voiceover for most videos but I like this one without. You watch each step and don't know what I'm making with googly eyes or wire and paint until I show it off. It's so many tutorials in one video. I love the mystery of that style for viewers and it appeals to people who don't speak English since I'm not talking.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!
Thank you! I'm so pleased with all the comments. You're all the best.
WOW.. thank you for sharing not just the techniques but your imagination! Amazing!👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much!
What a wonderful way to begin my day - coffee in hand and watching the most wonderful and informative views! Thank you for your time. Will have to rewind and watch again. Just so much to take in. Just so clever.
Glad you enjoyed it! I have seen it 50 times bc of all the editing, but I admit. I still like it!
"Gif" brand peanut butter ... love it. You are phenomenal. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Will do!
Bravo! I really need to pay closer attention to what I'm tossing out. You have a great stash of small plastic throwaways. And your idea for drawer pulls from googly eyes was crazy smart. Very cool. 😍
The googly eyes as drawer pulls was genius
You know I kept the black circles from inside the eyes for future projects 😉 I have such an extensive collection of trash and bits
This is so amazingly well done. I can't believe how realistic and beautiful everything is. I am in awe!
Thank you so much!
So many amazing and tiny details. Stunning
Thanks so much 😊 I'm proud of this project. It took a lot of time and ingenuity.
This leaves me speechless. Literally! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wow, thank you!
Wow! You've exceeded yourself on this one.👏
More, please...
On it! Thank you 😊
So awesome. So full of details. Surely a work of art. I live it.
Thank you so much 😊
You are so clever! I was fascinated from start to finish. I am amazed at how you can turn small everyday items into the most intricate and beautiful little things.
Thank you so much! This was a labor of love.
So many awesome pieces/details! Love watching you make the details which bring this diorama alive!
Thank you very much! I put a lot of love into this project.
Yet another MASTERPIECE!!!!
I appreciate that 😊
So much fun and hey this worked without a voiceover, who knew!
I love a video like this without voiceover because there's mystery to it. You think, 'what are you doing with googly eyes?' Then you're 😲
Loved the video, amazing and so very creative - put did miss your commentary...........your voice and delivery are both soothing and distinctive enough to make your videos able to "stand alone", no matter the content!!
Thank you so much! I like this type of video with no voiceover bc it's a mystery. You're like, "what are you doing with googly eyes?" Then you're surprised they're drawer pulls.
As always, I am amazed at your creative use of everything! I love how your mind works in seeing uses for so many different items. You are a trash-to-treasure guru! Thanks for sharing it all with us!
Trash to treasure guru! I like that! Thank you 😊
Your ingenuity is beyond belief. Love the attention to detail in this room box and the realism of the grubbiness. 😁❤
Thank you so much! Manhattan apartments are not very clean 😆
@@queencityminis haha
Your creativity and attention to detail just blows my mind every single time. You inspire me to do better with my own minis. Thank you Shyra, sincerely
Thank you so much! I hope you're having fun creating.
Outstanding. Lost for words. A Marvel fan here. Again learning so much from you. My mind is ablaze. Ty
Thank you so much :) I put a lot of time and effort into this project.
This is the best video making miniatures from scratch I've seen. Loved every second of it. Thank you for sharing. Not only making the tiniest things but making sure it was recorded in a way that we could see the details of what you were doing was another attention to detail you paid. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I've gotten better and better at filming to make editing easier. I'm so glad the effort has translated.
12:06 scissor cutting sound was so satisfying 😌
I like keeping some sounds here and there. Most of it is too quiet to hear but every so often ✂️
So many techniques, so many ideas! You are so inspirational!! Thank you, thank you!👏👏👏🤩
You are so welcome!
you are next level awesomeness in your designs and workmanship
I appreciate that so much! Thank you
What a treat! Beautifully done and everything handmade. So so good.
Thank you so much!
So many great techniques in one tiny room. TFS! As always, amazing work❤
Thanks so much! 😊
FanTASTIC!!!!
Glad you like it!
OH MY GOD YESSSSS I love this I cannot describe how much I love this
Thank you so much 😊
This is an incredible diorama, absolutely one of your best! The amazing objects you made from everyday trash are really inspiring. I missed your commentary, though!
Thank you! I'll keep doing my voiceover for most videos but I like this one without. You watch each step and don't know what I'm making until I show it off. It's so many tutorials in one video.
Just incredible. Such precision! 😮 You could handle 1:160 with one arm tied behind your back.
Maybe I'll give it a try, although 1:144 is small enough!
This turned out fantastic!
Thank you 😊
@@queencityminis ☺️🌸
I love love love this!! You make so much of your miniatures from scratch,& it inspires me so much! U r a natural at this!
Thank you! This project helped shape me as a miniaturist who uses everyday items to make things from scratch.
Shyra Wow! You are an amazing artist. Love all the detail. It is fantastic. I would love to have all the bits and treasures you have accumulated. Thank you for another wonderful video. Missed your voiceover and the humor you always add. Now I am going to watch again to see the parts I might have missed. ❤
Thank you so much! It's so funny to hear the trash and random bits I use referred to as "treasure".
I like this type of video with no voiceover bc it's a mystery. You're like, "what are you doing with googly eyes?" Then you're surprised they're drawer pulls.
Simply astounding
Thank you 😊
This is awesome and very inspiring! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Blessed you are with intuitive creativity ‼️🤩🕊️❣️
Wow, thank you
Love all of your art
Thank you so much 😊
I loved watching this! Couldn't take my eyes off the process. The details are amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 😊
Brilliant idea of cutting the googly eyes for drawer handles btw
Thank you so much 😊
By far, this is the best diorama/miniatures channel on UA-cam! Amazing work!❤
Wow, thank you! I really appreciate that!
How come every time it turns out to be soooooooooo perfect
Thank you 😊
So amazing.
Thank you 😊
Completely amazing!
Thanks a lot! This was a lot of work
I just kept saying, “ WOW!” Throughout the whole video!
Thank you! It's so exciting for me to bring this project together and see the response. I'm so pleased 😄
I totally was wondering!@@queencityminis
C'est simple : j'adoOore tout. Merci beaucoup et bravo 👏🏻
Thank you so much!
what an a amazing skill, not to mention an amazing imagination.
That's such a cool idea! Would a laptop work? I have a broken laptop I've been hanging onto for years. I wonder what cool bits are inside it...
You are SO talented and can take ANYTHING and create wonder from it! Thanks for the video! I love watching you create! Kathleen
Thank you so much Kathleen!
Thank you. ❤
This is amazing.
Maybe that would work with your project.

@queencityminis It was actually your videos of that room box that gave me the idea! And I do plan to use that video to make slides... ❤️
@cathymadsen2930 that's awesome! I hope you enjoy making it
The level of detail you put in is mind blowing! Thanks for another great video!
Glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun making this.
You are Amazing like spider man!!!
Thank you 😊
Fascinating to watch as you created the different elements and completed the room using everyday items that might end up in the trash. Genius.
Thank you so much!
WOW! You are an awesome miniaturist.
Thank you very much!
You are so incredibly talented! Just an amazing creation! I need to let my grandson watch this!
Please do! Thank you so much 😊
That was wonderful to watch! Every little detail that made the end product so great. Thank you.
Thank you for watching!
Great work!!!!! I love the marvel series you did a fantastic job on Peter Parker aka Spiderman's apartment!!!! Thank you for sharing😀
My pleasure 😁 Thank you!
This was one of the coolest things to watch! You are truly so talented. 💜
