- We continue on with our rehousings of our tarantula collection and today is moving day for our large female Acanthoscurria geniculata, the Brazilian White Knee tarantula gets a far more fitting, nature inspired enclosure than the very basic rubbermaid enclosure she came with. Such a beautiful spider truly deserves a beautiful home to call her own.
I hope you will enjoy todays build.
Leave me a comment let me know what you think.
Thanks for watching!

Beautiful spider
An awesome showy spider, easy to care for, great feeding response and generally always out
I enjoyed your creative approach.
Thank you!
Great rehouse. This is the tarantula I started with.
Such a striking easy to care for species
Nice. 👍
Thanks Peter
Brilliant.
Thank you kindly
Fantastic looking enclosure, great job, looks absolutely awesome 👌🏻 fit for the queen that is A geniculata
They truly are gorgeous spiders if given a place to shine
Such a gorgeous girl! Got a geniculata as well, tho still a bit of a juvie ( is on it’s fourth or fifth skin)
Gave me some ideas on what to do/use for it’s next home upgrade 🥰
I do understand what you mean about the hairkicks they have going on 😅 always tend to react on them unless I remember taking an allergy pill 😅 (& yes, the one I got the name Zazu as it’s gender ain’t confirmed yet)
But oh, they are so worth a bit of discomfort at times that can be easily solwed. 😊
Oh! The enclosure looks fantastic too! Not sure I mentioned it so I edited in this comment 😅
Very kind thank you… be safe
@@themadaquaristsrealmnatura2556you do know that these prefer more floor space than height ? Also a fall from a great height will rupture them so no height is really necessary
Came out great 🙌
Thank you very much
How do you remove the siliconed background if and when you decide to redo the enclosure for a different species?
With a razor knife. Redoing the enclosures occasionally is part of the fun
@@themadaquaristsrealmnatura2556 I forgot you are using glass enclosures. I’d have trouble with knives on my acylic enclosures if I’m not careful
just curious, what tank size is that? im looking to rehouse mine soon
She is currently in an exo terra 12 x 12 x 12 cube but will eventually need something larger
@@themadaquaristsrealmnatura2556 They are a stunning spider! Iv'e had mine since 3/4 of an inch, now she's pushing 7
