It's really incredibly interesting for me as a German of the Bavarian area to watch how different you are doing your building stuff. Absolutely awesome stuff to watch the differences in ground and dirt and the way you are doing your stuff. Keep going guys, really love to see more
Same. Here in the Netherlands we don’t pour the concrete in the dirt like that anymore. We use EPS moulds to isolate the foundation from the cold ground. Guess that’s not so imporant in Florida. Also, in many places the soil is too soft to support even a light house, so piles are needed.
@@ComplicatedStuff yeah we used bored piers here also. I’m surprised they didn’t because of the high water table and soft ground, although we don’t typically compact the ground before pouring the footings and slab. So I guess they are making an artificial ideal base.
As a guy in construction I love watching you join in on the process Cleet! Hilarious to watch but also love that you’re engaged and want to learn😂keep it coming man!!

Garrett these videos are amazing👍 all thanks to UA-cam and your Genius way of thinking👌 like me and millions of others we will be watching your content for life.
Being from the Netherlands, I am surprised to see how unprepared you guys are when building on swamp land. Half of our country is swamp land and we always survey not just the water table but the soil underneath to find out how deep the bedrock or other solid layers are. We drive concrete piles in to the bedrock and put our foundation on top of those. If the water table is too high, we drive steel sheets in the soil all round the job site and pump the water out while we do the pour and wait for the concrete to set off completely before we switch off the pumps and pull out the steel wall. We also box in all our foundations so we don't pour directly into the soil but into wooden boxes that get taken off after the concrete sets. This way we don't have to worry about water diluting our concrete, the concrete sagging away or the entire building sinking in the soil if the water table changes after building.
the fact they were surprised to see water after digging is astonishing to me, and we can't blame cleetus for that but the company who supposedly won multiple awards and prices...
If you have concrete info on the bedrock depth of florida please chime in. I don't know if it's right, but it seems like bedrock in Florida is extremely deep... like way too deep to drive piles to it. I could be way wrong, but I haven't found any precise info really on florida bedrock depth. Seems like it's mostly a big sediment deposit over a very deep bedrock platform. Maybe that's why basements are practically non-existant in Florida.

@@gtfkt We mostly pile into sand, below muck and clay. In most of Florida the sand layer is at 4 feet depth according to Google, on top of limestone bedrock.

of folks have lost their homes.l can recall when I
was homeless and faced with many things in life
until $87,000 began rolling in every 2 weeks, and
my life went from a homeless nobody to a
different person with good things to offer and not
depending on the government!!.!!
Excuse me for real?, how is that ? I have been struggling financially. How was that possible?
What is it you do?
Oh, yeah. I was able to achieve that with the help of my coach /Mrs Sandra Maria Ferraguti❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
She's a licensed broker and successful
entrepreneur from the state.
Her top-notch guidance and expertise on
digital market changed the game for me.
Awesome seeing you and Parker getting to help out together and aggravating each other. Lost my younger brother last may to a heart attack at 31yrs old and I'm 36. We were always doing something together. Keep up the amazing work...
Heart attack at 31 years young! Awe man, sorry for your loss
Just lost my brother in law 2 weeks ago, 38 years old, ruptured Aeortic aneurysm, died in his sleep
53:00(ish) Sunrise in the background while cleet builds his dreams!! Hell yeah brother!!!
LS Squirrel on the compactor speaking Spanglish to the shovel crew.👏😂
How exciting brother! Breaking ground on your new house and hanger! The home builder is super chill to let you guys get in there and get your hands dirty! I bet you all slept like babies after those hard days of physical labor. I used to love that feeling! Muscles sore yet felt good from hard work. So tired you can't keep your eyes open! Hell yeah! Congrats on the progress and looking forward to updates!
Thank you for helping the people, it's a prayer I hoped would get heard. Some of us out of work because of the storm can find away to be helpful to those people that have no way out. To let them know America is watching over them. We the people, can make a difference! God bless!
It's really incredibly interesting for me as a German of the Bavarian area to watch how different you are doing your building stuff. Absolutely awesome stuff to watch the differences in ground and dirt and the way you are doing your stuff.
Keep going guys, really love to see more
Same here from the north of Sweden, its way different, mostly because of the frost in the ground here
Was thinking the same thing from down Australia way, so different 😂
Oh man Cleet and the whole crew put a smile on my face, even in the darkest of my hours.
As a guy in construction I love watching you join in on the process Cleet! Hilarious to watch but also love that you’re engaged and want to learn😂keep it coming man!!
Thank you for taking us along. I have done my share of concrete work in my younger days. Will never forget the smell of freshly poured cement. Can't wait for the next update. Be safe and God Bless.
Wife’s about to go to in labor soon thanks for keeping me entertained while I’m crunched up on this hospital chair 😅
Congrats on the new baby!
Hell Yeah Brother !!
Happy Days for you my friend .. congrats
@@GhidorahPrime thank you
Congratulations to you both! Hope baby and mama are just fine
Congratulations.
We need to see Cleetus take Major for a ride in the Supra!
Leroy!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mo
Love how cleet using local people and local friends businesses! Bad chad is awesome!! Zz drew aswell.. wish they both would be on here more!
Hell yea brother. I'm glad your safe man. Thank you for helping the community and helping out. Your amazing.
This was a beautiful celebration of the trades and skillsets that make modern life awfully comfortable
Good job Cleet ,i did concrete work for 33 yrs in Houston Tx. we do it a little different down here we use bell bottom piers but our water table is different, looks like it gonna be solid can't wait to see it finished . Love the vids
This house building series is definitely gonna be one of my favorites on here. Keep it up Cleet!
Best hour and a half video I've watched. I can't wait to see more of the house project!!! It brings me back to when DemoRanch was restoring his Mansion on the mountain. I love watching house building videos. I've been watching since 2016. I still remember the old videos at the old house with Cooper, where you we're doing absolute crazy science projects with your C7
And it wasn't coming in slowly, it had pressure behind it.
@@gtfkt I think piles are also just held up by friction off the soil, they don't necessarily need to hit some kind of solid bedrock
Coming from a guy that work in big houses a lot owners never take care of the pipe that take care of them. It’s nice to see cleet talking with and hanging out with these guys and I can assure you they would absolutely love a food truck.
Make sure to have your builder run smurf tubes (conduit) to every room in the house and garages/hangars. Then run Ubiquiti cameras and security.
Final clip of George dropping his helmet straight into the fresh crete is priceless🤣 James's, "Dude!", made it even better
5:01😂😂, Bless you Cleet you deserve everything, thank you for everything for the North Carolinians and what you God and the heavens protect you!🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸
Cleet construction Crew gotta kinda ring to it, what an enjoyable hour & a half , Luis is a really cool guy & George is Killin it in his "concretin boots"😂😂😂😂
Love these long videos. So awesome to see all the progress. Me and plenty others are so happy to enjoy the content
Those rod busters are the real deal, bailing wire and rod iron rod busters on the job, thanks BigAl California.
Majors out here trying to get a spin off show+ guest appearance of the year.
Cooper needs to have Major on his podcast. I bet he's got some interesting stories
I love the house series keep em coming hahah love seeing the guys outside the shop doing other stuff and B-Chad!!
The skid steer is the unsung hero of construction! One of my favorite tools on a job site!
Squirrels “Dang it” finished it off perfectly 😂😂😂 that boy left his mark on your house Cleet!!
So much great UA-cam content today (SpaceX!), but man, this was GOLD! 9am lunch breaks, Cleet and Squirrel doing concrete work, then hearing Luis dogging Cleet tying rebar (Mr George, how much you pay for new guy?!) CLASSIC!! This is the content the world needs, along with the amazing work Garrett and do many others did after the hurricanes! 👍❤️
I became a "fan" of you when I first saw your channel. It was the receiving of the Towterhome. I love the racing, that's why I started watching frequently. But buying the airfield and getting into aeronotics is so frigging cool man. Living my dream through your videos man. That's awesome
1 hr 37 minute video. Wife is 2 hrs 25 minutes from being home. Perfect timing!
Better have dinner ready! 😂
Got an hour to get the chores done lol
You can't watch UA-cam when she is home?
@@whysix3417I can on my phone, but I don't on the tv because I know she won't enjoy the content. Likewise, I don't have to watch or listen to her stuff so I won't complain.
Whys her bf so far away?
Can’t wait to see future videos of the process. Your kids will love it !
Yeah Cletus. I bet with that boom extended it’s super hard and tiring for ya on those sticks. You must be exhausted, go ahead and take a seat, here’s a nice cold bottle of water you earned it brother. I know those toggles can get stiff sometimes.
I see you noticed who was really running the job! All the good stuff to Luis! Having worked with concrete as a plumber, guys like Luis are the solid core of a company. Lotta not too shabby people on that job as well- Luis has a pretty good eye, and that eye was the one I think Chad was most concerned about when he took over the mini excavator. Looks like the Freedom Factory Boys had a good time and actually did some serious work with no burnouts or blown motors allowed! BMMI was a great choice- they definitely brought their A team.
Let's go cleet. Glad to see some sense of normalcy come back to your area after the storms.
This isn’t after the storm bubba.
@Edizzle15 yea I'm aware. I meant in real life.
Hey bro good to hear your ok!😮 and all the crew survived! Aussies were praying for you guys out there! Just glad to hear your all ok😊
350 yards on the slab is intense. I ran a finish crew for 6 years here in TN. Our biggest pour was a 8 plex condo with 2 step downs. It was 310 yards. We were there for 20 hrs total with pour and finish. Props to the team you hired. Solid guys. Love the content here
Not a concrete or construction guy, is pouring the slab directly over the compacted earth a pretty normal thing? Everything around me is on a basement so it's different with the gravel drainage.
Pretty slow crew you ran 😂 20 hours to pour and finish 310 yards? I go out and pour 500 plus and those crews have them poured and outta there in 9 or so hours
@@lucaswinlow8821 there were 5 of us. That was pouring footer and breaking down the step downs. Included garages and slick finishing along with brooming all patios and sidewalks. It was a day.
@@otm646 they will bring in gravel.
Jeeyzus, this vid took me all day to watch- 15 minutes before work then 10 minutes at break, 30 at lunch, 10 more at last break and now I just finished when I got home. Felt like a workout...
The bucket pins on that mini x are shot! Gone, finished!😂
Yeah that thing is clapped
Looks like it is in need of CEE to do a line bore job on it!
@@CGT80 it definitely needs some love, hopes an dreams are about all it's got holding it in right now lol
George dropping his hard hat in the concrete at the very end had me laughing my ass off!!!!!!!!!!
Great video!!
THat and when he dropped that piston on the floor at the engine place! LOL
Y'all deserve every bit of your success.
I don't think im alone in this feeling?
👍👍

Absolutely enjoyed this video, I’m sure we’ll all appreciate an even longer video. This was fun to watch. Also, George was such a great addition to the team
Everyone needs a friend like George!
Hurry up n get that eagle video out 🦅 Cameron wants to get his video out!
Hhheeellllyyyaaa Luis was awesome and Chad and to all the original crew very cool and how much fun and to grow friendships!! Epic!!😎🦅🇺🇸👍🏻😇🙏
Gonna be epic! ProTip: SOUND ISOLATION between all rooms; double drywall, with green glue between the sheets, and make sure that these sheets are decoupled from the studs. You also need a good system for the floors and ceiling, and all electrics/pipes etc need to be installed with sound isolation in mind. Also obviously need sound rated doors.
Hell yeah brother . I hope everyone is doing ok out here .
