The period of oscillation of a simple pendulum is T=(2pi)(L/g)^(1/2). Measured value of L is 1.0mfrom a meter scale having a minimum division of 1mm and the time of one complete oscillation is 1.95s measured with a stopwatch of 0.01s resolution. The percent error in the determination of g will be:
A) 1.33%
B) 1.30%
C) 1.13%
D) 1.03%

This teacher just pulled a uno reverse card on indians 😂
Great explanation...i understood the concept ❤
Glad you liked it
I remember doing similar problems at university in my engineering degree...not an easy topic at all!
Bro literally in your college, it's a starter in India.
I like watching these videos even though I have no idea what is going on.
Lol
Sir how 0.001 change to 0.1 percentage
1 = 100% 0.1 = 10% 0.01 = 1% 0.001 = 0.1%
Thanku ❤
You are great sir .where are you from
Thank you. Originally I am from Belgium I have emigrated to the Unites States
@@MichelvanBiezen thank you sir .please continue to guide Indian students .Hope for your success and prosperity
How did you get the 0.1% and the 0.5 %?
.01 / 1.95 is about 0.005 which is about 0.5 % With multiplication and division, you must add % uncertainties % error in L / T^2 = % error in L + 2 x ( % error in T)
excuse me Lecturer, could you show me how to calculate size and number of rope for lift or elevator, please?
You must calculate the maximum load on the elevator when the elevator is accelerating upwards, and then you find a cable that is rated at 3 times that maximum limit.
@@MichelvanBiezen could you write down for me please?
Maximum load = mg + ma where m = mass of the elevator and the maximum mass of the content of the elevator combined. The cable rating is advertised by the cable manufacturer.
How much of you noticed a little (actual) error in not his math but his writing?
Please converting 0.15 to percent
0.15 = 15/100 = 15%
SIR I AM NOT SELECTED FOR JEE AND NOW I AM VERY DEPRESSED
F
@@ayzzart899 F MEANS ?/??
@@anonymous1257 don't worry. Jee isn't the only thing. U have many more options in life
In life things happen contrary to our wishes or our plans. That is inevitable and it happens to everyone and it has happened many times to me. Either we try again, or we try something else. In life, those who strive hard and work hard will be successful. Some doors close while others will open. The key is not to lament over the closed doors, but to embrace the open doors.
@@MichelvanBiezen THANKS SIR FOR MOTIVATING ........BUT SIR SHOULD I DROP AND GIVE ONE MORE CHANCE FOR IT OR TO MOVE ON AND TRY SOMETHING NEW
