When u finding length of the pendulum on earth for that question the answer u got was 0.5585m. It tried it several times and am not getting that answer. I got 0.3724m

in problem No.2 after substituting the values in the formula to get the length, second squared and s squared is canceled but why did you include a squared to the 1.5 when computing using calculator when it is already canceled?? please answer got a little confused there. thank you

Look at “lbs” as a variable, like the letter “x”. If you say 10x/5x, you will get 2. That’s because any number or variable divided by itself is equal to 1. So lbs/lbs is equal to 1. That’s how he got 2 instead of 2 lbs.
You actually divide 10 lb by 5 parts to get 2 lbs per part. You don't divide by 5 lbs, As an example, if you divide a 10 lb cake into 5 parts, you don't divide it by 5 lbs, but you divide it into 5 parts to get 2 lbs per part. Alternatively if you divide a 10 lb cake by 2lb then you get 5 parts and not 5 lb. The 5 will be just a number without any units..
