      Thanks Dr Hardy for this very informative video.
      You mentioned the 10x is easier than 2x as being part of a trilogy. What are the other two books?
      And can't one read the 10x without going through the other two first??

    I have a high ceiling but my floor is in the gutter 🙈 it’s been circumstantial due to serious illness, my past self settled for low quality environments and low vibe people out of fear.
    At least I know about it and can now raise my standards. I love that ‘your floor is your subconscious’
    Your work helps me so much!

    Thank you, Dr.Hardy! The theory is not new to me, but this time it hit hard - I had a vision of myself jumping, trying to get to the new, higher ceiling and maybe sometimes even touching it 😊 , but realize now that I won’t stay on that level until I raise my standards, my floor… and that applies to everything - from the way I run my household to my career.

      @@dr.benjaminhardy That 80% of my life right now is a basically a familiar, security blanket and just 20% is high quality work, working towards goals. I never realised how much of my time is unintentional, coasting, comfort blanket time. But now that you made me aware, it's kinda true! It makes me want to let go of the security blanket and be more deliberate in designing my time :)

    Another "Oh Wow" moment. I continue to have a ceiling that makes sense, but I have never really even considered what my floor is. When you said "Be clear where your floor is", that was a wake-up call. I have a lot of behaviors that I need to weed out and examine why I started those behaviors in the first place. Also, my lack of examination fits your analogy, "consciousness is like the ocean." I need to do some deep work so that I can raise my floor!

    What if we say no to opportunities for 10X AND NOTHING SHOWS UP

    • @dr.benjaminhardy
      @dr.benjaminhardy  Рік тому +3

      By saying yes to opportunities, what are you then saying no to? It is important to remind ourselves to think, respond, and act from a place of abundance over scarcity. The opportunity will present itself when given the space to do so.
      What opportunity are you seeking for? How does that opportunity allow you to go 10x? What has to be true to have that opportunity come?

    Is there a chapter on discipline? I have a massive issue to sit down and get easy things done that need to be done, even though I know this would be the right path forward and will get me to where I want to be. Do you have any advice on overcoming this lack of discipline or maybe reframing it somehow?

    • @dr.benjaminhardy
      @dr.benjaminhardy  Рік тому

      In "10x is Easier than 2x," discipline is certainly addressed, although it may not be the central focus. The book emphasizes the importance of clear vision, urgency, and strategic focus to achieve remarkable results.
      To tackle a lack of discipline, you can start by breaking tasks into smaller, more manageable steps. This can make them feel less overwhelming and more achievable. Additionally, finding ways to hold yourself accountable, such as setting specific goals or creating a routine, can help build discipline over time. Remember, discipline is a skill that can be developed with practice and determination. Keep your future self in mind and visualize the benefits of your disciplined actions to stay motivated.

      @dr.benjaminhardy for me personally focus power on the 20 vs the 80. It's like this for business... when you know something works, you know where you need to focus time and priorities. But we still let the 80% rule. I am building my "David" so for the next few months it's all about "David" 😀

    This is like a metaphysical, psychological homeostasis within! The Floor is the set point of your internal world, the identity.
    Neville taught to leave the world alone and change the conception of yourself. This is a deep dive kind of work that actually works if you become more aware of where you are within.
    The more I listen to you the more I understand Neville! 🤎
