I can't believe lincoln won't make a 200 amp machine with AC tig. I've had my Everlast 225 for almost a year, and it's the last welder I'll ever buy. I sold my Lincoln 225 tig, 256XL mig and 180 Dual and bought this Everlast and it's crazy how much better is it than those old mosfet transformer machines.
@@GuestInvitado-gd3bi Doubtful it's any better than Everlast, and it doesn't do mig. The whole point was about the capability of a multi -process welder.
@@1970chevelle396 Thanks for the review. While the output current and volts don't seem too different, the duty cycle is quite a bit better. 30% at 215A/24.8V as opposed to 25% at 200A/24V. It doesn't seem like much but that's 33% more energy output per 10 minute cycle! I looked at the 210 before this came out and wasn't quite willing to upgrade from my lincoln 180 mig, but this one might just be worth it. One thing I find odd is the plate on the back says 215A output but Lincoln says 220. Odd that they would have made a mistake.
Those cupcake trays work great for working on cars. You can group the bolts together for different parts of the car. It makes it faster to put it back together.
Looks like a great purchase especially with the rebate. Thanks and enjoy your 4th Ken
Thanks

Try the LINCOLN Square Wave TIG 200, it's the best for aluminium.👍

i was thinking about the 275 everlast, they just seem to give you more for less money.
Just got mine today and great video.
Thanks
I have the same machine. Just curious what you set the run in wire speed at.
I have mine for over a year, very happy. This one replaced a 210MPi which I did not like.
I never had any problems with the 210mp. I just want to use it to do mobile jobs. That’s why I replaced it with the 215mpi
Did you ever make the video showing how you powered the welder with your generator?

@@1970chevelle396 Thank you. I didn’t realize it was under the Predator review. I have the same Honda generator and was looking for that.
Why did they stop production of the 210mp is the 215mpi a better machine?
The 215 is very similar to the 210. It has the same output. But it has a few improvements over the 210. That’s why they stopped making the 210.
It looks like a great deal.
Thanks
Who makes the line-con welders?
Lincoln makes them
Just bought this unit, just for a hobby….what size breaker do I need to run this? 30 or 40 amp?
It draws 15.9 amps. You only have to a 20 amp breaker.
You like it better then the 210?
Yes I like it better than the 210. It’s only a small upgrade over the 210.
Thank you, Happy 4th

So you only need a 20 amp breaker what gauge of wire
Yes you only need a 20amp breaker. 12 gauge wire
Thank you
Does is say where its made in
Made in Mexico
@@1970chevelle396 I'll take it, anything but china
Even the 210mp that I bought a little over a year ago was also made in Mexico.
@@1970chevelle396 okay good to know

everlast gives you more for less period, better warranty, better duty cycles
This one was a great deal with the rebate. I also have a Everlast welder.
@@1970chevelle396 it's all good but even with the rebate, everlast gives you more for less.
