Any recommendations for a small heavy duty safe thats also fire rated? Big enough for a few documents and whatnot. I guess interior room around 12” x 12” x 12” or so.

Hey Parker I think it’d be a hit and huge help if you made a video comparing the original domestic BF home security safes to amsec’s same category imported BFS series home safes!
I’ve found endless videos on the different amsec BF guns safes but shockingly not a SINGLE video about the imported BFS safes!
They are supposed to be very similar to the domestic BF security line but at a much friendlier price point. I’ve had several people ask for recommendations who haven’t heard of these but once they research them they’ve decided to buy a BFS the majority of the time!! PLUS they have sizes such as the BFS912 which is one of those rare safes that fills the role of being small and light yet also relatively secure and fire resistant for the compact size with a solid 3/8 plate in the door!
Love your straight forward review videos and looking forward to possibly seeing a first BFS review on your channel!!

We haven't had one in yet but I'll see what I can do

That would be awesome! I’d love to know how amsec’s BFS imports stack up against the made in America BF models. In terms of security, fire resistance, and materials. Like is the dry light fill the same mixture on both? Great company so I expect some good quality control!

Hay Parker, I was thinking about getting a Hollon MJX 2524C or a Hollon MJ 2618C both are TL30. I was wondering what’s your opinion on the brand Hollon and which model would you choose?

I haven't really looked into Hollon safes. Sorry. I don't know much about them.

I had thought about Hollon also and I’ve talked to different safe dealerships about them and they’ve all told me to avoid Hollon completely,,,they’ve said when(not if)they break/need service you can’t hardly find anyone that will work on them,,,I’ve been told for my needs the American security CSC 1913 would probably be the ideal safe for me so I’m saving up for one.

@William Foreman thanks for the great advice. I’ll start checking out Amsec. and start saving as well.

I looked into them and found out that they're made in China.

Mr. Parker thanks for the great info. And to think I thought it was made in the USA. Well I have to pass on it if that’s the case. I read that the quality of the safe made in china wasn’t that good or tough. Thanks again.

    Is the csc good also?

The only issue I have with the CSC series is that they are made in China.

@@llw3377 Good stuff is made in china IF you pay well. These "china" safes could be good IF Amsec or whatever buyer is paying for a higher quality product. But just like ordering food in the US, if you buy from the dollar menu it's never going to compare to higher priced menu.
