Tony Robbins quote about the past:

😅 I did this yesterday with a clumsy voice message I left for important business. I never received a call back. I had to talk myself down by saying “hey, if it’s not meant to be…it’s just not”. This morning I woke up to a phone call back from the person! What will be will be! The guy was really pleasant and happy too! I’m definitely learning not to be hard on myself. It’s all in your head!

This is insane. I was in that mental state today based on the date I went on yesterday. Don't know how UA-cam figured what was in my mind and suggested this video.

I used to teach myself to constantly 'let it go' as a teenager, growing up in a toxic social environment.
    It actually worked.
Although I was still upset on the inside, it helped me progress and just move forward in life.
It also stopped me from talking out my negative mood on others.

I have a severe case of this. It keeps me up at night to the point of feeling sick to my stomach. Sometimes It hits me like a train halfway through my day and I can’t stop ruminating. If it’s particularly bad, I’ll shake and get tunnel vision about the situation. It’s destroying my life in every aspect.

I know exactly what you mean. For me it’s a constant replay in my head from the moment I wake up to when I go to sleep and sometimes I can’t even sleep because my thoughts do not stop no matter how hard I try, they’ll come back even if I try to calm it down and yeah it’s legit just ruining my life as well.

I think people often know that letting something go is the solution... it's how to actually do that and feel it.. that gets people stuck in my opinion. We tend to overthink ourselves into a corner then when thinking is best... often reaction is what happens.

Gaining a little more awareness each time the mind goes off into its labyrinth is the key to this
Practice to be the observer of the mind, the real you is in the background, simply aware of everything going on. The more you find yourself connecting to this, the mental stories will naturally dissolve. Rather than dissolving by force.
Trying to push it away by force would be the ego trying to dominate it’s own mental story, furthering your identification with it. Be gentle on yourself, it takes patience to grow your awareness. I recommend a little meditation to help with this

Looking at the past, or future can be compared to driving a car with, let's say for the example, the "Low Tire Pressure" light on the dash. The driver isn't gonna let that impede their journey. Sure, they may glance at their dash every now & then. But for the majority of their trip what they're gonna do is stay in the present moment, & keep their eyes on the road. Use the past as something to learn from, not to stop you achieving your goal. & the future, something to work towards.

This is where I sit currently. Constantly battling down anxiety and trying to focus on the moment. Just getting ready to go out for a walk I had 8 different thoughts I had to take action and let go. I am stressed out with controlling how "stuff" goes and preventing it from going "bad" I keep losing sight of what feels right vs what feels wrong. XD

Bro, I learned that from Bashar’s Channelings twelve years ago. And since I learned that, I’ve never heard a single person repeat that knowledge to me.
