100%. I used to listen to Sirius/XM religiously and I remember perfectly how he do things like make it apart of his contract in signing with the radio company that the competing radio hosts at the same network were not even allowed to mention his name or even elude to him in any regard because they would mock and make fun of him so much. &When the Radio company would throw parties, inviting everyone from the company, he would throw a fit and threaten the company when he saw the other ones there. Making the company panick and kick them out in order to please him because he was bigger.
He would fake suspensions just to stir up fake drama around the show and get attention in the news.
I even remember the weird stuff like how he felt the need to lie about being at his daughter's exotic spoken word poetry after it was ridiculed because she was just screaming and moaning, "MY VAGINAAAAA" over and over.

The video kind of skipped another part of the story which might've had the biggest effect overall: Joe's fight/falling out with Stern meant he started doing more appearances on the Oppie and Anthony Show, the #2 shock jock morning show of the early 00's; O&A had a big feud with Stern, meaning regulars on their show were typically blacklisted from Stern's. Anthony Cumia, one of the two hosts, built a studio in his own home and started doing podcasts on the weekend for fun in late 00's, early 10's, and Rogan has said it was Cumia who directly influenced him to start a podcast of his own, and that the O&A show's relatively format-less style, where the hosts and guests often just talked about whatever they pleased for 3-4 hours, inspired Rogan's long form conversational style.

Stern really did hate those guys, he heard they were at at an event he was at and had security kick them out. They made jokes about his daughter doing a play and the howiecopter. They also mentioned something about a Christmas party and his daughter. They worked for the same company and Howard had the boss ban them from saying Howards name. So that was areal feud and not just a radio bit. The only time Howard talked about them was after they got fired.

He thought Joe was just as slimy as him, and when Joe was actively refusing strip club women (apparently unthinkable for Howard Stern), Howard took that as Joe being, or trying to be, morally superior in the battle that only Howard was having.
He probably thought “this guy thinks he better than me?? He thinks he’s better than not groveling for strippers?!”
Enter this weird, “you’re a huge misogynist.” Projection arc from Howard.

Many of the people who helped Rogan develop his educated opinion got cancelled and then were proved correct later.

I think Howard was trying to stir up drama, to keep people listening in, but maybe he thought Joe would see through it, but Joe took it more personally, because it really was a personal issue. He learned he had an aborted kid on his show, earth shattering news made public as he was finding out himself.

my mom had surgery last Friday. her heart has been trash since her covid vaccine. swelling and fluid around heart for no reason, pulse accelerating randomly, or she gets dizzy and weak. she cant even say that she thinks it was the vaccine without people calling her a liar. how many people need to say they know someone who was hurt before it hits their brains? 2 people they know?10? the fact that they were told not to report on side effects to the CDC because it could cause "vaccine hesitancy" should have told us everything.

I recently learned Rogan was responsible for the "you got a great ass, all round and muscular" skit from Stern. What a legend.

Everyone knows what Stern used to be like and the types of stuff he did.
Stern though, is that type of virtue signaller that is clearly doing it to detract attention from his own skeletons in his closet.
Imagine the stuff he's done we don't know about...

Something happened to Howard Stern in 2001 that kind of changed him for life. I'm not sure if it's Katt Williams or another comedian, but they talk about him getting bent over at a Hollywood party by a few guys who apparently showed their dominance to him and he was never the same.

One thing that guy didn't mention is that Joe became a semi regular guest on The Opie and Anthony Radio show and Stern hated those guys.
