Given that this had a breakdown to apply the grease, this might be the best cheap SCX 24 mods breakdown.
Thanks for the video. 😎👍. Dzieki
I’m new to the hobby and been trying to figure out what kind of tools I will need so I really appreciate your recommendation and just ordered a set from Walmart for like $15. Thank you sir!
Get a high quality Allen wrench set
Thank you for sharing ! Like to see more on the tools, how's the quality of them
I used the stock lights for headlights. It works fine with no need to buy new ones
narzędzia fajne , ale brak podstawowego klucza do Axiala SCX24 czyli HEX 1,27 ...

Chevy sedan body? Looks like a pick up truck to me.
On front lights no need to drill and take off stickers the light shines right through sticker
really if so how do i mount the lights?
@@asapplayz6912 there is little clips behind light sticker they go into and the light shines right through the sticker
ok what size lights can fit in there?
@@mikesned4201 also does light still illuminate like does it still create more light or just like a light to be seen
@@asapplayz6912 The lights that it comes with fit right in there the lights that are from the bumper and it doesn’t make them brighter it just looks more scale realistic
Nice modification video. 👍

, pan.
I moved the upper shock mount down to the frame ,jasked it up a bit 2 😃👊👍✌️🦅🦼🇺🇸
Does the tool set have the . 05 and the 1.5 hex key drivers? Those two are the most important for the scx24.
Hex 0.5 and 0.05 - no
Hex 1.5 - yes
The smallest Hex is 0.9.
Nice
How do I take the lights out
Order from Aliexpress and support the CCP while you wait 2 months to get it.
The author of this video is based in Poland. As much as I appreciate your sentiment, aftermarket parts for SCX24 are hard to come by in Europe and the shipping rates from the states are borderline extortionate.
Thanks for sharing with us!!
Very cool!
Do don't trim body if u have a c10 just raise the body so the tires don't hit
But that would increase the center of gravity, and I wanted to avoid it.
Did ya ever make that tool set review? 😯🤷♂️
Hi. I didn't. There was not much interest in this topic.

Good video! That modification with the bumper and lights is cool. I like the connector you attached. Great idea! Would like to see a vid on the rc specific tools 👍🏻thanks for the video!
How are the tools holding up almost a year later?
So far, the entire toolkit has been working great. Nothing is broken, everything looks like new. The only drawback that bothers me is the lack of a Phillips/cross tip in size 3.0. I had to borrow it from my other toolset, because I use it a lot.
Can you run throes heavier brass hexes and wheel weights?
I'm not sure if I get it, but if you are asking about these 7g weights than I have no problems with them.
Next week I'm gonna upload a new video about a servo in this car and hopefully this will shed more light on this topic :-)
Where did you get the grey one I can only find it in mint green
I bought it here: rc-team.pl/auta-zdalnie-sterowane/139696-scx24-chevrolet-c10-1967-124-4wd-rtr-srebrny.html
However I'm not sure if they deliver products outside of Poland.
How tall are the stock tires?
49mm (1.93")
Add weight to the body before rotational weight
This is absolutely right and I did it in my other SCX24 - ua-cam.com/video/rzyu_0x474M/v-deo.html
When I was filming this video I was still waiting for the parts I had ordered. At the moment I also added diff covers - 9g rear, 14g front.
can you use a Dremel to cut the corners of the body when you remove the bumper?
Well, yes I could, but it's not needed as lexan is very easy to cut with scissors. Besides, if you are using a fast speed dremel it can melt the lexan, so you need to use a dremel with an adjustable speed.
@@pandubek387 thanks! I don’t have scissors that small so I was just wondering
Stop using scissors use a razor blade score and fold...... your welcome I promise you will never user crappy scissors again
Thanks for The video! 👍🏻
