    Thanks for checking this out and the great critiques!
    Wanted to address some of the things you ran into:
    RE: Sha'khar AI - from what I've seen as soon as you fast travel away, the game updates the package and will teleport him to his camp. We're using default travel AI packages and relying on the game to navigate him through whatever location... risky business! I tested Embershard extensively and was unable to replicate it, but we need to be prepared for stuff like that if we're going to do quests. I like your suggestion of speaking to him again though to say "nevermind, meet you back at camp" - that would give players an immersive solution if something goes wrong.
    RE: Shady Contact - There is meant to be an alternate path through the Jarl scene in Winterhold if you thought to equip the ring and got the Shady Contact encounter. I'm uncertain why that didn't occur for you, I went and replayed the quest after watching this and couldn't replicate. I know we have alternate dialogue set up depending on how the Civil War plays out, and since I saw Vignar in charge in your save, I probably need to go double check it in a save with the Civil War decided to figure out what went awry.
    RE: Clues - there is meant to be a note on Vignar's bedside table in House Grey-Mane, but I've seen physics send these through the floor before - so a chance it's stuck under it, or inside it. Though it could be another consequence of the Civil War, so I need to go back and test everything again after that. For the map markers, we tried to not use any for those and let them be optional little detective bits - but after a lot of testing feedback, we realized the multi-stage ones were too painful to keep track of all the different notes and clues, and so put in markers for those.
    RE: Jarl conversations - you nailed it, we had to re-purpose vanilla dialogue, so it made pulling off interesting conversations quite the challenge!
    RE: Quest and narrative - after wrapping it up, we had the same thoughts of "man it would be cool to extend this more and make it feel like another full faction questline". We had to keep scope in check during dev, and the intent for what we included was to act as primarily a tutorial for all the systems - so we couldn't suddenly change the scope to a faction-level questline. We're definitely going to be aiming bigger with future questlines now that we've got a feel for how this program works.
    Definitely working on more tweaks to fix some issues and keep smoothing out the experience. One of the unique challenges to this project was that we had to keep it all secret, so some of the best feedback has only come after it's been out in the wild.

      Thank you! This was a really strong starting point for the Creations program. Really looking forward to what you guys are working on next. There were a couple specific bugs I ran into, but by the time I went to write them up for the review, you had already released a hot fix for those specific issues. The amount of support, especially around the holiday season, is incredible.
      For some of the bugs I encountered it could very much come down to a matter of mods I have installed. It's a fairly lite mod list but you never know what might cause weirdness

      Are you one of the devs for this mod? I was curious, does being an East Empire merchant effect the Thieves Guild quest line? Like, if you have the ring, could you just walk into the Solitude warehouse and not encounter hostile guards? That would be a real interesting alternative to sneaking around when you're following Gulum-Ei.

      Just checked, it's fairly small. Sky UI, USSEP, DAR, Address Library, Quick Light, Cathedral NPCs, SMIM, Alternate Start. Plus all Creation Club content.

      personally i believe bethesda needs to rethink their monetization's of these creations, so instead of setting a specific payment per mod, they do it based on a subscription fee of 3 separate tiers, so that there is lower payed mods then a medium payed mods to a higher tier mods system, the highest tier should be the most sought after as it will offer the best of the best in mods and selection of what mods and unlimited downloads to the end user in that subscription.
      so instead of paying for mods individually, you only have to pay your subscription fee each month on that system to gain access to all mods unlimited to the end user, bethesda will still pay out a percentage to the modder in question based on how many download their mod and the mod author will still get a good sum, it just won't be as much as it being sold individually, but if the mod is on the highest tier system, than the mod author will get the higher payout for that mod based on the downloads in that system.
      so people are less stressed out on the mods price and the overall value of this system, each tier in this system serves the end user and also the mod author and bethesda, and it's a lot less gouge worthy when it comes to people's pocketbook.
      bethesda are supposed to have a better system than other games, they need to set an example that they aren't like every other game dev out there always trying to get the most out of their player base and abusing their trust in that process.
      plus people would be more than willing to pay a subscription fee per month over paying for mods individually anyway, just so long as the price is right and not asking too much of them.

    I mean if paid mods are gonna be a thing again, better hope the quality and price will be worth it.
    This at least is an upgrade compared to the content we got in creation club.
    This mod specifically i like. Not only does it have voice acting, it provides a useful feature and seems to be integrated pretty well. The integration part is especially important for immersion.

    One of the better paid mods out there but I doubt the trend will continue.
    Also free alternatives:
    -Conquering dungeons - Skyrim Realistic Conquering/Lawbringer. WIth more customization, too.
    -Loot delivery - currently missing for Skyrim. This is almost a direct port of Kinggath's first mod "Salvage Beacons" which were later added as a caravaneer system to SS2. IMO it works better for Fallout 4 both in-universe and from gameplay standpoint anyways since in Skyrim you have more options of expanding your carry capacity on top of not having many low weight crafting components, which were the main carry weight hog in F4.
    -Loot auto selling: I only know the bin from Legacy of the Dragonborn but some advanced house mods may have that too. Probably the most useful feature.

      I can't believe you didn't include 'Conquest of skyrim' in that, it literally lets you own any locations you clear and build a army, fully voiced. although by AI. good AI in this case.

      Main limitations of lawbringer and SRC is that they do not impact every location in the game.

      Not to mention that one is by Kinggath, again. When your entire cash shop is being carried by a single person(+team under him) it's not a good look.
      Also funny how Kinggath is against paid mods in Fallout 4 but totally ok with Skyrim paid mods. There's a drama around that, believe it or not. Me personally? Don't care how good it is. Never buying AE, never buying paid mods, love me downgrader patch, love me 3 thousand mods wabbajack modlists, simple as.

    This is definitely one of most interesting paid mods so far. I think in regards to your remarks about permission having already been given to Solitude and Winterhold, I figured it had to do with the fact that Sha'khar and Korrin seem to be doing this on a more independent level, not as representatives through the EEC. While the EEC has a presence in those places, usually the trade deals are already made. Because this seems to be more of an offshoot kind of endeavor, perhaps on a trial run or not officially approved by their superiors (not sure how the internal structure of the EEC works), they're not able to make use of all the resources available in most cases. Just a thought, though :)

    Wow I actually really liked this Creation. By far more character than Creation Club. Fun little quest. I'm impressed. Voice acting, good writing. Actually might be worth paying for.
    Also, you're playing a non-George female character! Interesting!

      @@rashta5817 it uses some of the new scripts in 1.6 so it does not work downgraded from what I heard. Maybe modders will do another downgrade patch that lets these work but that would be outside their control

    I love this mod.
    It adds so much value and can change how you play.
    If you play your cards right, you can become a multi millionaire in a couple of ingame days.
    Spoiler: I experienced that at the end of a few questlines you'll get a reward: an Amulet that can give you +70 to one of your attributes. You choose which one.
    I got the feeling that if I would have gotten all camps to level 3 instead of 2 the reward would be higher. If anyone can confirm this I'd love to read it.

    Comparing EEC Expansion with Hearthfire DLC pricing is actually reasonable. This creation gives more diplomacy as a Thane to my character when I tried it for the first time. I can't wait to use these creations when BGS allows the creators to enable achievements on my Steam Skyrim Vanilla playthrough.

      Never going to happen. Only official Bethesda produced content will ever be permitted.
      Also, you just said you had it on PC, download a mod to enable achievements.

      @@icefarrow7959 I hate to say this to you but:
      1. It is going to happen because the majority of the casual players are playing Skyrim on console and in vanilla. Very few are not bothered to use mods.
      2. I don't mod on Steam anymore because of the brute force updates. So I have GOG Skyrim Anniversary Edition to satisfy my modded Skyrim experience.
      3. SSE Engine Fixes is broken on the latest Skyrim update. I know this because I tested it, read the Nexus posts and the most recommended way to fix that mod is to disable the achievement enabled feature on the text file which to me is another way of saying that the mod author is not bothered to update the mod.
      4. I played vanilla Skyrim much longer than modded Skyrim since 2011 on the ps3. So I can wait for BGS to allow verified authors to enable achievements.

    I really like Goldenhills Plantation that you got as part of Anniversary Edition. Very similar to Heljarchen Farm but smaller scale. Much more realistic in my opinion compared to building large walls and having caves. I still use both Heljarchen Farm and Windstad Mine as mods but it's something I get into later on in a gameplay. Goldenhills stays as a small farm and I use it to farm food.

    This is definitely the creation I was most interested in. I do wish wish you showed off how the mine system worked.
    At the moment I use RE Realistate to claim mines. If this mod did a better job of letting you claim bandit infested mines, I'll probably get it.

      Well,it would be owned by the East Empire Company,not completely yours,but they do give you A cut,maybe check on the compatibility of both, because Re-Real Estate would still be good for renting houses and this one is good for making something from Dungeon Loot that you usually leave behind....

    Paid contents have to be on Dawnguard or Dragonborn level. I won’t settle for some mods like Katja I wouldn’t even download her even if she is free on nexus

    This is the one mod I would have paid for, then I realised I have to pay 200 South African Rand's for 1000 credits. That's a flipping high price to pay for a mod. That being said, this is a good mod.

    This does look very interesting. It is so convenient to be able to dumb loot from a dungeon and pick it up later or just have someone convert it into money for you. Very nice quality of life feature. I would consider picking this up.

    Skyrim real estate also does something similar as well and so does become a landlord. Although they require a pretty big gold investment from the player upfront they can act as cool gold sinks that benefit you in the future.

    Kmarts are definitely worth it as long as they're good quality, so far from what I've seen a lot of them are good quality and they're worth it... I don't know so much about the follower mod but as far as the quest mods and locations totally worth it most of them are based off of Elder scrolls online which is pretty cool. It would be even more worth it if Bethesda were to actually implement their own DLC sized mods even if they were paid mods... They've got to give us something while we're waiting for Elder scrolls 6. Thanks for reviewing this mod on always looking forward to new content from you you do a great job and I learned a lot from watching your Skyrim Saturdays so thank you very much for what you do.

    40:04 No, it's not you being unlucky. I had a similar experience with the cave that came with the guns paid mod.
    Other than that the other bug I've encountered was that the Whiterun Camp stopped selling my items and so did the one in Raven Rock if I went to Skyrim and back.

    Does this mod effect the Thieves Guild quest at all? Like, if you're an East Empire merchant, can you freely enter the Solitude warehouse during the tailing mission and not have hostile guards? It would almost make it worth while perk at that point, if not then it's rather a large missed opportunity for that East Empire ring to be used.

    Iv been doing a play through with slow skill levels and training can go up to 25 times gold now has weight so in short gold is now exp
    I whatched kingath live stream when this came out and it made me more okay with this

    The collection/selling aspect is handy. Does this selling mechanic get around the standard low merchant gold amount? They did a good job blending the dialogue lines from existing characters. That always stands out to me when it’s done well.

    Missing, from my point of view is mentioning Legacy of the Dragonborn. The "chest spells" allow you to transfer loot to a centralized container. Inns have shipment boxes which allow transport to the museum and the safehouse has a chest which will sell items over time - not to mention the museum part or the workbench modifications.

    this is why im going to be buying the new paid mods and it may sound petty and someone probs knows a workaround:
    -basically i have skyrim se (ae upgrade) and skyrim vr and i use vortex mod manager for modding
    - vortex doesn’t distinguish between the 2 games so when you download a vr mod it’s listed as SE mod, this can be good for getting compatible se mods onto vr but annoying on my mod list because all the mods are shared and some mods for pancake make VR have issues or crash
    - few things stress me out more than seeing a mixed list - i’ve tried modding both but then i have to keep a notepad of which mods are for VR, which are for pancake and some are both. if i go on to try a new mod for pancake then if i forget to disable for vr then that playthru is stuffed, and it’s happened before (yes the game warns me but still i am silly)

    I wonder if the contract for Creations allows for free mods that add content to the paid ones, like an extension or unofficial patch. After all the rules say that the Creation must not depend on other mods, but I don't think it says that the opposite can't happen.

    In my opinion this paid mod is not worth the price.... because Hearhfire had localisation into several languages in the subtitles and NPC voices, and here the subtitles themselves are not even localised into other languages. Well, and the problems you also had during your game are in favour of not acquiring this.

    I have seen the pathing issue Sha'khar had in Embershard Mine in other mods. I suspect it was due a navmesh issue causing a problem with the path generation. Rigmor of Cyrodiil did the same thing in a couple of locations. Luckily in the Rigmor case the NPC didn't run into an immoveable object and eventually returned to the path.

    Remember,being A paid mod,means the team has initiative to continually fix issues;with the mod itself as well as conflicts with other mods. Many (not all) modders make mods for their own use and then release it for others to use,they don't try and patch or make the mod more accomodating for other users,ergo third-party patches... ..............Or they may infrequently update......

    I wonder if you can use an artifact in a house you own. I have a save file with a "items to be sold" chest in one of player homes that's always full and fills faster that I can sell the things in it.

    Rot Gut ended up inside Chidhna Mine and tried repeatedly to kill me, disrupting the quest in there. It was a major pain.

    Thanks for the video...
    I just started this mod a few days ago...
    I had the same problem with Sha'khar... he kept getting stuck getting out of the cave & I was in Shriekwind Bastion!
    The first few jarls/holds were fine, I'm a thane in all except Windhelm, but I couldn't find anything in the Blue Palace, (but I was able to use the thane option) & then the same happened in Understone Keep, but it only has the option to pay...
    After watching your video, I'm now guessing that I couldn't find anything in Solitude or Markarth because I'm blocked for some reason in Markarth 🤷‍♀️
    Now... to find why that is 🤔

    Just in case it's not mentioned, EEE does not play well with mods that add clutter or city editions like Ryn's, JK's, Spaghetti's, Great Cities, or Civilization.

    My biggest issue personally with this, is that they take up space on your total mod storage on console, I understand why to an extent but with only 5gb to work with it fills fast.

    This expansipn keeps crashing for me. I've Uninstaller and installed it 4x in different ways of approach and eventuallynit crashes with either
    No quest
    No money in deposit boxes
    The game freezes when im speaking to the cat guy
    The game doesn't show the quest
    It's so fkn buggy

    East empire expansion and the paid gun mod isn't available for anniversary edition and special edition on the PlayStation unfortunately which is sad because I really wanted to have the East empire expansion

    I was wary of this mod author. Kingath says he mods FO but didn't want to start paid mods there as to not muddy the waters.
    Basically he only sees Skyrim as a money making opportunity and doesn't mind making paid mods there despite or because he doesn't play the game.
    I decided to watch this to see if my gut was right, I fear that it was.
    One of the first lines of the Khajiit npc refers to the mine as a dungeon.
    Dungeon is word that just isn't used in Skyrim to refer to hostile clearable areas.
    This is completely unimmersive, the only people that refer to dungeons in games are the players themselves, outside of the game itself.
    These locations are referred to in game as:
    bandit camps/forts, forsworn camps, nordic ruins, dwemer ruins, snow elf ruins, ayleid ruins, vampire lairs, tombs, imperial/stormcloak camps/forts, witch coven, necromancer lair, caves, mines, falmer nest, etc...
    Never as dungeons though!
    Call me pedantic or whatever, this is the sort of thing that can and will pull people out of the experience.
    It's no different to someone saying something only heard in the 20th/21st century in the middle of a fantasy world where people don't talk like that, it reminds you are a player playing a game rather than the character you are playing as.
    All this not even 3mins in I might add.

    I too have begun to play this as an intergraded part of the Adventure. I could also see some kind of tie in with the Khajik caravans like Seducers & Saints. (On Xbox)...I feel that paid mods will, with Bethesda's backing, will be of better quality and Maintenace then free ones. There were so many free ones that broke the game that; I became leery of any new ones that came out. At least I felt the CC mods worked in the game even if they weren't good for a style of game I was playing.

    I have to say, the last two free mods are nice BUT oh boi are they not well made. They are not really good with any mods that change everything about the landscape where they are and have many bad edits in them that can and will conflikt wit other mods, like artefacting and other bad things. in a list with few mods that do not change mutch they could work nice, but big modlist should make a big bow around them to not get brocken. The mine and farm realy are a good idea but they would need to be remaked by someone that would make them clean so that they not make trouble in a modlist.

      I played the original versions back on Legendary Edition and don't remember there being any issues, so it might just be a matter of the ports being poorly executed. That or I just have a much better memory of them since that was years ago.

    It’s got a bug where it likes to freeze after the finish of a dialogue. The Shakkar tries to talks to you again and it just freezes when you follow him back to camp the very first time.

      Sometimes vanilla's chest UI doesn't close before dialogue begins - but we'll definitely provide a fix for this for sure (need to wait for Bethesda to be back in their offices).
      In the meantime, vanilla has a failsafe built in - where if you just wait around in the convo for a minute - it will auto exit dialogue - and then you can talk to him.

    Compass navigation overhaul, paragliding, skyclimb, dragon born voice over. All still broken afaik. Until then.. I can’t buy this unfortunately not to mention the bugs on 1130 are ridiculous.

    Wow first cave and the mod already broke. This looks like a better one overall, but paid mods are a bad idea. It is just a company taking someone's passion and using it to make money, while underpaying the creator.
    If you wonder why so many mods are great and some creators go on to great success, then consider the way it works. Mod gets made due to someone interested in doing so mostly due to passion. If no one likes then they do not donate, so only incentive is from their own interest. Then if people like the mod some donate, after seeing if it is worth it. This way mods that are made from passion will continue to be made due to passion, rather than by monetary incentive. Though good ones are further incentivized by donations. If the reason for making a mod is to be paid, then they will do all the normal, uncreative, deceptive tricks to make it seem better than it is.
    If a mod promises no money to creator, unpaid mods, then the incentive is their own passion. Or if the unpaid mod wishes to be lucrative then it must be good to the possible donator, thus tricks don't work. If the mod is already paid for before playing then all those tricks become very enticing. Because once they, trick or convince you to try it, then it is too late. They already have their goal accomplished.
