Thanks again for sharing - Steve - Ball Bay Aust.
You know I was thinking the same thing Joanne. The first time I heard his video and I don’t know how I stumbled upon it but I did he actually brought me to tears I know that sounds corny but I’m telling you the honest to God’s truth. And then at the end of the video if you wait you will see a beautiful some scripture with a beautiful picture. Sometimes you just feel blessed by someone and he is one of those people.
Just found your videos today and really liked them. Your teaching style is very reminiscent of Bob Ross, the guy who teaches people to paint landscapes on public TV He passed away in 1995 and his films are still popular because his style of teaching is so smooth and encouraging, just like yours.
Thank you so much for making easy to teach the children along with the adults on how to bake and cook. Your videos are a pleasure to watch and listen. GOD BLESS YOU 🙏
I caught myself drooling before he was even finished 😋. I usually google my recipes because some of the u tube videos drone on and on, but not this guy. Very nice Sir!
Update: I told a lady in an upscale bakery about Biscuits for One and gave her your name, told her to subscribe to your channel and lots more For One and For Two recipes. I thought she was going to cry, said she had given up on baking because of time, the cleanup, the hassle. She hugged me. After she left the workers behind the counter said "What's the man's name?" I smiled and wrote it down for them. You're making a LOT of people happy!
Yum, you make your recipes look so easy & not intimidating. I've always wanted to make Cinnamon rolls but I was to scared to make them plus seemed like to much work. Your recipes look super simple & delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipes & love your kind voice & calmness. Blessings to you!⚘
Mr. Ken Where have you been ALL my life? Adult cooking life that is. I've wanted to make cinnamon rolls for years but just as you stated in the beginning, I've been intimidated. BUT NOW!! Not just a simple recipe but your calming and encouraging voice is going to lead me to Victory!! And then you share our Father's love. Well HE'S surely shared with us. Thank you for who you are and whose you are! Blessed is your wife also! I can hardly wait to get out of this bed and back to my kitchen. Oh man!!
Your videos are addicting! This looks wonderful especially for when my grandkids come to stay for the weekend. Thanks for sharing! Blessings to you and yours.
Looking delicious 😋 are you a chef or have you taken classes because you are very Professional. Your partner is very lucky to have you when it comes to this area. You make everything look so easy ✨️ and your tone of voice, not speaking a mile a minute it kinda relaxing to watch you entertain us as well as to share your craft with us. Thanks so much 💓 keep them coming. 😘
Instructions: (as per your video....hope I heard this correctly). To the warm water add bread yeast and stir it and set aside. In a mixing bowl add self-rising flour and add diced cold butter and mix with a pastry cutter and cut the butter into the flour. Make a deep well in the center. Add Melo Yello Soda pop to the flour. Then add sour cream. Mix up the soda and sour cream with your spoon in the center (do not mix the flour yet). Get the yeast mixture and give it a stir. Now pour the yeast mixture around the outside of the flour (in the bowl). Now gently mix flour with the liquids with the pointy end of a wooden spoon. Now when spoon end doesn’t work so well, get your hand in the dough and gently mix by hand. If the flour mixture is too dry and not coming together add 2 tablespoons water into the yeast cup and mix. Then add this additional liquid. Now gently mix by hand again till it comes together (gentleness is the key). Put a little flour on the waxed paper. Also put some flour on your rolling pin. Put dough onto the waxed paper and press out into a rectangular shape. Now gently roll it with the rolling pin, add flour so it won’t stick. Add room temp butter on top of rolled dough and spread out eith your hands Now sprinkle generously cinnamon sugar mixture on flatten dough. Now roll up dough on the short end - longways Put on cookie sheet and put in refrigerator for a few minutes. Now butter the round baking pan. Cut in ½, then1/2 ea. Side and then ½ half cut to make 8 cinnamon rolls Put in the round baking pan. Add melted butter on top. Cover with a cotton cloth and proof in the oven for 1 hour. Make the glaze now and stir. Raised cinnamon rolls Bake at 375 F for 15 minutes, you have to watch them! Take Cinammon rolls out of the oven. Add more melted butter on top. Add Glaze on top. Now EAT! YUMMY!
I'm going to make these too!!! LOL Cinnamon rolls are my Husband's FAVORITE!! Now with ALL your amazing help I can stop buying them!!! THIS IS AWESOME! GOD SENT YOU!!!
Great video Ken. Thanks for sharing your recipe. For a nice variety try using just a bit of flavored extract in your glaze some time. It can be Vanilla, Lemon, Orange, Maple, Walnut or any of the others out there on the grocers shelves. It takes the routine taste to a whole new level of different for those times when you just need a bit of change.
I also used brown sugar and a small amount of power sugar with the cinnamon. Since I only have half and half or heavy cream I use the half/half with the powder sugar for the top. OH how WONDERFUL. Thank You. Blessings. Love that corn recipe as well. Blessings
Gained four pounds just watching this video. Your videos are perfectly paced. Totally relaxing. Top it all off, it has been my favourite three recipes... biscuits, biscuits, and biscuits. Sincerely all the best from Vancouver, B.C. Canada
Thank you for sharing I will try this recipes with my son you are a good teacher I like how you explain things and your recipes are easy and don't take all day!

My mom made Cinnamon rolls. She would put some of the Cinnamon sugar mixture in the bottom of the Buttered pan. Then when they came out of oven she would flip the pan upside down. GREAT Gooey Cinnamon Rolls. :) Mom I Miss You. See you in Heaven when I get there. I know dad is there already 1980.
I had to use diet soda pop and everything went Delicious. My neighbors couldn't tell the difference in less sugar. Such a delightful recipe. Many Blessings, much success.
