"Did you see this week's episode of Lower Decks?" "Yes! I made a list of all the easter eggs." "What did you think of the plot?" "The what?" "What happened to Mariner?" "Who?" "The lead." "Which one is he?" "She...how many episodes have you seen?" "All of them." "And?" "I've made a lit of all the easter eggs!"
Interesting to note that one of the clips showing pirates appears to be from HOOK, starring Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman. Neither of whom is in the clip, but Bob Hoskins (playing Smee) is.
I think the plate was of the Cerritos and the third figure was Data with a phaser rifle from First contact (not Janeway). These were shown in the previous episode when he was trying to find his new quarters. He didn’t say it was Data, but it appears to be him.
Great video! My only concern is, that while I expect spoilers from the episode or previous episodes of the topic of the video, I DO NOT expect spoilers from other series, especially recent or currently airing ones. You do you, but that's my only issue, thanks!
Sorry but you have the wrong Enterprise. It was CV-6 the WW2 carrier not CVN-65 Enterprise. I love this episode but there are a few inaccuracies I couldn't help noticing. I was born, raised, live and hope to die in Mark Twain's hometown of Hannibal Missouri. We are in N. E. Missouri and not the Deep South. We are about 70 miles south of Iowa on the Mississippi 20 miles from Quincy Illinois. We sound nothing like Southerners. I also noticed the newspaper they were reading the "Missouri Courier Post". Nope, it should be the "Hannibal Courier Post" which isn't the one his brother Orion Clemons had but is our current newspaper.
@@johnstaton894 Most likely fanlore that associated the sleek new nuclear powered carrier with Scifi... And in about 5 years the next Enterprise CVN-80 will be commissioned to serve for another 50 years...
It is unlikely that Roddenberry ever served on a carrier as he was a B17 bomber pilot. But he may have had experiences with Enterprise OR her sistership Yorktown, which he originally intended to use as protagonist ship, like fighter escorts on missions or something... and the only landbased bomber that was used in WW2 from carrier decks was the B25 Mitchell of "Doolittle Raid" fame.
3:47 I think the crews are getting beamed away and the ships are left as wreckage to cover up the kidnappings.
Was the end scene a reference to Trelaine, the Squire of Gothos?

Is it just me, or was the Orion ship in the teaser a throwback to Hawk's fighter from Season 2 of Buck Rogers?

Nice! Once again. WDIM Rules!
I know you said the the model captain in gold is from the series Enterprise, but I wonder if that could be Kirk.

Mark Twain was an Easter Egg for TNGs Time's Arrow
Two of my favorites for obvious reasons. (See my post)
Nice review Eric. I liked this episode.
The Enterprise was named after the WWII ship, the most decorated ship in history. The Gray Ghost, the hero of Midway.
And the carrier from which the founder of Enterprise Rent-a-Car flew as an F6F Hellcat fighter pilot.
2:04. I am.
I wish I could give two likes, one for great content and one for great editing!

I was going to point out that they mentioned the wrong USS Enterprise as well.
How do you miss the most decorated ship in American naval history?

Looooong winded man.
Uss Enterprise CV-6 which the creator Gene Roddenberry had served on. from WW2.
