@@WhatDidIMiss The relationship between Lwaxana and Odo was incredibly written. Probably two of the most unlikely characters to form a friendship. It starts with simple, almost slapstick comedy, but it develops into such an unexpected emotional depth that really brings a lot out of both characters.
The Enterprise episode "Broken Bow" is pronounced like bow and arrow not like the bow of a ship. It references Broken Bow, OK where the Klingon crashed to Earth.
@@WhatDidIMiss Not really. I think it was more about how powerful her abilities were. IE for most people she can't read minds. People she knows really well she can, but that's about being able to make out the details of their thoughts. In one ep it's kinda said that thoughts tend to be blurry to her. However, any ep with anyone who WANTS her to read their mind... clear as day. Especially other telepaths like the Cairn. Cairn have severe issues communicating with non-telepathic races, but Deanna could communicate with them rather easily.... she just had to get used to people who think in pictures and don't use telepathy for words. 'cause a Cairn might mind beam into your brain a full schematic of a warp drive.
T'lyn using the same epithet as Mariner in describing how Vulcan Sarek was, is somewhat 'Un- Vulcan-like' when describing herself in the same manner. I cannot imagine her engaging in the behavior described in that epithet🖖...
I never knew that Dwayne Johnson was on Star Trek! Also the idea that apparently caitians used to hunt and eat betazoids feels like it's worth at least some analysis
Lwaxana Troi flirted incessantly with captain Picard, even though her advances were unwelcome. Likewise, Cathiew flirts with captain Freeman even though she is married.
RE: Broken Bow. So you know: It's pronounced Broken "BOH" (long O--like the weapon, rhyming with "low"), rather than "BOUGH" (with the dipthong). It's a city in SE Oklahoma named after a city in Nebraska itself named for the supposed discovery of a native American broken arrow and bow (there is a corresponding Broken Arrow as a part of the Tulsa Metro area in NE Oklahoma). The pilot episode of Enterprise was named such ("Broken Bow") as the first Klingons crashed on Earth in or near the city.
Voyager season 6 ep 23 Fury janeway says it's not long before you hit triple digits and tuvok agreed. So how could he have been 107 when he arrived on voyager?
Tuvok at one point explained that actually. this wasn't his first ship assignment. He'd joined rather young, decided to return to Vulcan and raise a family, then returned to Starfleet.
T'Lynn's hairstyle looks nearly identical to that of Lt. Valeris (played by Kim Cattral) in Star Trek VI.
Apparently the tarot cards Shax had were Bajoran versions. The cards on show include the Emisarry, the Celestrail Temple, Orbs etc.
There's a blonde Romulon on board the warbird that looks a lot like commander Sela.
These breakdowns remind me that there has had some great actors over the years.
Deanna troi's mother was one of the most entertaining people.the most emotional person on board startrek next generations.
You should check out the 3 episodes of deep space nine that she was on. Pure magic.

Enterpsires 1x1 "Broken Bow" is a refrence to archery bow, not the front end of boat.
Argh, I thought that was right. I literally recorded me saying it both ways :/
@@WhatDidIMiss Yeah, it's the name of the town in Oklahoma where they landed. I've gone horseback riding there.
Lwaxana loved Picard for playing hard to get, too
1:05 Deanna was able to communicate with her mother telepathically in all the episodes Laxana appeared in.
Right, but that was because of her mother.

Great video as always. Eric.
The picture of Vulcan hanging on the wall over T'lyn's bed

I noticed all these. You missed a few.
