    We LOVE our Kodiak X2!

    I read and watched all the info online, but until I actually started using my X2 that I realized IT CHARGES AT OVER 1,000 watts WITHOUT A BRICK CHARGER, just the simple cord👍 I have a Flex with 3 batteries it is excellent for high drain usages like cooking and even some heating. I definitely like having this fast charge portable unit, which still has plenty of power and a great lifetime cycle count that will outlast me. A+ Inergy.

    Does it support battery bypass?
    Could it be used as a UPS?
    Not a deal breaker as a UPS can
    be used and switch to this if needed.

    If max solar input is 400w, does that mean that is the max solar panels that should be connected, or can can more solar panels be connected if the input remains under 400w? For example, 500w of solar panel with a max peak efficiency of 80% bringing 400w?

    • @Inergytek
      @Inergytek  2 роки тому +2

      The Kodiak X2 has voltage limits that CANNOT be exceeded. We do not recommend connecting more than 400W. However, the unit can be connected to slightly more than 400W, keep in mind it does have a maximum battery charge rate of 10A. I highly recommend contacting our Tech Support team at 1-877-891-2657 Monday-Friday from 9-5 MDT to discuss details!

    Why is there no current info on the Kodiak X2 as to availability or future items? Is it a discontinued product?

      We've shifted our focus to our Flex power stations, which offer enhanced features and capabilities. As a result, we have sunsetted the Kodiak X2. Thank you for your interest and support!

    I noticed the mppt charger on the Kodiak X2 has a max 10A input as compared to the Flex that has a 30A input although both allow for 400watt solar charging. If I use 100w solar panels that are 5A each to create the 400w would I need to use fuses if connecting in parallel? Also would this limit the charging capped at 10A or 200w if in parallel? I have the Flex and just ordered the Kodiak X2 and want to know if I can use my current solar setup on the Kodiak X2. It is four 100W (20V, 5A) each connected in parallel.

    • @Inergytek
      @Inergytek  2 роки тому +3

      Good question. The Flex 1500 and the Kodiak X2 both have a maximum battery charge rate that is based off amperage. The battery will not charge through solar at a rate faster than the amperage maximum, although it can be slightly exceeded. The MPPT Charge Controller does not allow you to exceed the Voltage rating on either device. The Kodiak X2 has many differences from our other power stations, with a 24V battery and a hybrid inverter, the unit has impressive AC Charging abilities and parameters to meet when DC charging. The Kodiak X2 kits that we offer contain solar arrays setup in series AND parallel combinations. I highly recommend calling our Tech Support team at 1-877-891-2657 Monday-Friday from 9-5 MST to hear all your options and get your questions answered in detail!

    Hi wanted to know if more batteries can be added like the flex battery?

    • @Inergytek
      @Inergytek  2 роки тому +1

      Hello! The Kodiak X2's battery capacity can be expanded with one additional X2. While it does not have the ability to expand with multiple batteries like the Flex, this unit is capable of increasing the output to 2,400W when paralleled with another X2!

    Hi Inergy, I believe I asked this question a bit too late during the live stream. When combining two units can you double the solar charge input as well?

    • @Inergytek
      @Inergytek  2 роки тому +4

      Great question, we are currently working to increase the capabilities, but of course, there are limitations when increasing output and battery capacity. The Kodiak X2 does not double its solar input when in parallel and the power is limited to what is stored between the two. It does not currently allow a solar charge when in parallel mode, but we are working to have this function available!

    How does Inergy Kodiak X2 achieve 6000 life cycles for their LFP batteries while other competitors can only achieve 3000 life cycles, if both are using LFP batteries? Are there different type of LFP batteries?

    • @Inergytek
      @Inergytek  2 роки тому +4

      Excellent question! There are different grades of LFP batteries and we did select a higher grade lithium cell to use. The higher grade cell paired with upgrades to the BMS(battery management system) gives the Kodiak X2 it's highly efficient battery life.

    Can it be combined with the APEX or FLEX?

    • @Inergytek
      @Inergytek  2 роки тому +2

      Since this is our only PowerStation with a hybrid inverter, the Kodiak X2 can only be expanded with another X2!

  • @Titanykus

    Dual Link, that is nice and dandy, but I cannot buy two systems. Can you make a video on the capabilities of one unit? Can one unit, uno, run a fridge that pulls 977 watts (115v x 8.5amps), and how long will the battery last? Can you run a fridge and charge the X2 at the same time with the panels?

    • @Inergytek
      @Inergytek  2 роки тому +4

      Yes, a single X2 can power the average fridge for about 12-16 hours. It also has the capability to charge and discharge at the same time. We do have our full livestream posted where they highlight all capabilities of the X2! You can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/2hVFiF2eNPQ/v-deo.html&lc=Ugy1w-wHBMcxz_e4INR4AaABAg
