    Great, quick and to the point! The mat turned out very nice. Dressing them with anything is always in question. Like you said in the video just be mindful and wipe it up good.

      Thank you! Yes, wanted to keep this one short and concise. I actually like to apply the 303 when the mat is still a bit wet so it dilutes it even more. Forgot to mention that in the video!

    Yep, made the mistake last summer of using a rubber treatment on all three of our vehicles. Looked great but it was a disaster because our feet were slipping all over and you couldn't safely use the pedals. I tried scrubbing the heck out of them but it took the grime and salt of winter to help. The thing is I have 303 that I use on my truck bed cover but I never thought of using it.

    • @high-defdetailing1485
      @high-defdetailing1485  Рік тому +2

      It happens to the best of us! It always looks amazing until you slip on them haha. Definitely give the 303 a try and really knock it down when applying. You can even spray it on the mat when it's still wet and that sort of dilutes the product even more to help prevent slickness.

      I've got an even dumber story. When we met, my wife had a '74 Nova, and it had a vinyl front bench seat. I had the brilliant idea to ArmorAll the entire interior. The first time she climbed in she slid to the passenger side, and was not very happy. Even with seat belts on you would slip all around, lol. The worst part was I did the headliner too and eventually it fell down. I believe that was the last time I used ArmorAll other than for tires.

    Good video. What I always do, take 5 minutes. Hoover them with my hand-held hoover, wipe them down, spray the rubber with tire shine spray. Makes them gleam for weeks 👍

      If you're worried about the dressing being slick I wouldn't risk it at all. As long as you use something that's water based and you "knock it down" with a microfiber towel afterwards you should be good to go!

    I’m trying to find out how to remove rust stains from the cargo liner.
    Unfortunately, I bought some outdoor chairs made of steel, only they bleed rust if they get wet, making them a nuisance. I need to get the rust stains out
