I just set up ours for my son’s Christmas present. It immediately shut off the screen, popped and started smoking from underneath when we tried to auto level it
Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. I have a problem though. The printer fails the auto leveling and fails calibration. It gives the error message that homing x failed. It only will start auto leveling if the module is all the way to the left, my left when I'm standing in front of the machine facing it. But it doesn't move from that position. It will go up and down but then fails the calibration as soon as it touches the plate. Any thoughts?

How is it doing now? I hope you are aware that Anycubic has precision tuned this printer for the benchy. Try something a bit larger. You will more than likely need to do a lot of dialing in. Anycubic is notorious for the lack of quality in their printers. After about 2 months, you will probably notice a deterioration of your print quality and maybe some failing parts. I have owned 2 anycubic printers. My first one was the Mega Zero, bowden tube printer. My second was the Kobra, a direct drive extruder. Both worked great out of the box. But both also started failing within 2 months. Mostly parts failing. It took over 4 months to finally get the last extruder from them.
