good job. i remember way back when i was racing, there was no electronic reader for bands on the birds. it was frustrating as we lose precious time. good luck on future races.
Oh yea that can be frustrating! My dad used to do that back then and he said he still preferred that method because he doesn’t trust the antenna haha

The difference between the winning time and average time is a very small amount. Its very obvious the larger loft owners can enter more birds and devote more time than the average owner.

Congratulations to the very good final young bird race result from Germany. My father is particpating in pigeon races as well. In Germany the first 33% (1/3) of the participating pigeons receive points. How is it in the US ? Always 20%? Good luck for the next season where the older birds will go for longer distances I think.

That tells you a lot about white racing birds 🤦🏽♂️ even they not good or people ain’t willing to develop a good white line of birds..... any idea who owns that bird in ur club and did he placed good ?or did he get eating or lost ??
I think you have a good point bro. I’m not sure. If I find out I’ll let you know bro. I’m still planning to race some whites next year. I messed up this season because I loaded my whites when they weren’t even in good condition yet. I think if they’re heathy they can do well in 350 mile races.

Thank you!! Like what you said, I increased fats and carbs. I also kept my small loft very clean when race season started. I think that helped the most 😊 I’m still hoping I can get the 4th bird back today or tomorrow. It was only her second race. She did 200 miles last week and 350 miles this week. 🙁
@@gpsloft5868 if I'd known that , I would have told u not to send her. I would only do that with experienced birds . Feeding is as important as the birds them selves . Like I said before , Mo Farrah and Usain Bolt wouldn't win anything if their diet was wrong !! .

Great job. You would’ve clocked better with that first bird had it’s last flight been fully grown. You gotta watch for those short new flights that they don’t get damaged from flying those distances. And it can hurt the pigeon too when they still short. The flights Gotta be about 70-75%grown out to race those kinds of distances but good job
