Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been watching McLaughlin religiously since I got a bug for pigeon racing. Your video was very useful at breaking down his feeding.
You’re doing it right brother. McLaughlin is one of the legends in the sport so you’re definitely getting advice from a good source. Also people don’t put in the preparation and still expect great results you’re doing a great job. Keep up the good work and good luck this racing season I’ll be watching all your videos. God bless.
I wish you luck and please post update on how your pigeons feel/look physically and how they perform on the McLaughlin mix. Thank you for making good videos and the effort you put in translating spanish to english, truly appreciated.
Hey Brother, Great Video keep it up. You are going to fly super. Your competitors are not going to be happy. What system do you fly the old birds on? I start racing a week from Saturday and hope to have an excellent season. Your Pigeon Friend, Frank
Hello. First of all, thanks for all your videos and advices. I do not have much space and partitions in my loft and I have the sexes together. I know is not ideal, but it is the only way that I have for now. The hardest part of your method is trying to achieve that perfect body. Hard to imagine without actually handling one of your birds. Thanks and have a great old bird season
@@quinteroloft9530 When you handle them at shipping you will see the difference and they will be very corky. They will fly a faster speed and stay to the front. They may even set the pace for all the others. Mixed sexes are a difficult system but these pigeons will still fly great on proper body weight.
Awesome store. We have nothing like this for a thousand miles where I live. That small reddish corn in that Endure mix appears to be the same corn that Gaby Vandenbeele used and swore by.
You guys are so fortunate to have a lot of variety of grain, here where I live we are limited on special type of grain. Keep sending them videos👍. I would like to send some of my birds to the states and see how they do.
@@quinteroloft9530 Hawaii we fly over water , from island to island. The farthest distance channel crossing is around 70 miles to the next island . The birds have to fly over four channel crossing to the next island and the farthest distance from the farthest island is 330 miles and the birds fly head wind .
@@Hunter-qj6eb That is a hard course. I used to watched Alohapigeons, he had a youtube channel and I got into after watching his channel. I saw all the course and it was really hard. One of the last episode that he uploaded he lost most of his pigeons crossing the channels. We, here in the state are fortunate that have plenty of land to race pigeons. Good luck.
I thought they had to be on the system for a while so the birds are buoyant and ready to race, mine have been on his system since I’ve seen it. My race is 2 weeks away. I wish you good luck in your season 😊
Yes, I put them in the system more than a month ago, I just put the video now. I am following McLaughlin for a while and watched all the new videos about feeding. The hardest part is achieving that perfect body. I would love to handle one of his pigeons with that perfect body. Now I am just gessing how a perfect body should be. Thanks
@@quinteroloft9530 ok brilliant, we’ve all had pigeons that we think will do well to be surprised that a different pigeon will be better. So it’s impossible to pick the best pigeon. I do feel sorry for my pigeons on barely but if it’s helps them on race day then they’re staying on it until winter. I wish you well . 👍
Te felicito. Estás establecido un buen sistema . La comida es muy importante. Pero acuérdate las carreras cortas y las largas son diferentes . Mucha suerte y qué tengas buena temporada 👍. Desde Puerto Rico sigo tus video muy buenos.
I been using barley and European supreme from moyers and verselaga black champion equal three way part now for a month. They birds just don’t like barley but I don’t let them get any more till they eat everything. I keep them in this diet till the end of the racing season.
Thanks. Nice. Yes, he talks about 80% barley, but he said that he is using the VL depurative. I will try to find the depurative too to add some to the mix. Good luck
Hello I have a question about training the birds with your method, you do one training toss on Friday my question is what about the other days do you loft fly them or you keep them on complete rest?
For short races you keep them in complete rest all week with 80 % mix and the day of return you give loaded mix ? Thank you for your response I appreciate it.
@Keti yes. I train 25 miles on Wednesday and 55 miles on Friday. I ship on Saturday. They eat 80% 6 days a week. The loaded mix the day of return, Sunday for me.
It’s been a year since you put this video up so how has it gone have your results improved did you lose many birdsong this system it’s time for an update
Feed prices are out of control like everything else almost $50 for 40 pounds. I was ordering from chewy last year because it was so convenient but changed because of the high price, limited mixes, and got a bunch of bad bags.
Keep some things to yourself, remember your competition is also watching. Also watch out for the fast birds they will trap fast and only eat the good stuff, feed as they all trap.
Lol. My competition doesn't watch my UA-cam channel. I just put a portion of the mix when they are training. When most of them get home, then I give the rest
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been watching McLaughlin religiously since I got a bug for pigeon racing. Your video was very useful at breaking down his feeding.
He is a good teacher. Follow this feeding method and your pigeons will fly amazing and they will be easy to train

Hola buenas noches tengo una pregunta
The name of this mix feeding in PH is "Concentrate".
Not sure about your question

Yes, really enjoy the pigeons stores
How did your season do following this method
It was really good. That food systmen is amaizing
Sir how is your pigeons doing and are you still using that mix?
Hello I have a question about training the birds with your method, you do one training toss on Friday my question is what about the other days do you loft fly them or you keep them on complete rest?
I keep them in complete rest. They do not loft fly because they are not satisfied enough with the food, and they trap right away to eat.

If you are racing your birds every week, that 85% barley B.S. doesn’t work.
I manage the feed depending on the length of the race. I decrease the barley when the races get longer
