Dirt Elimination went down today at X Games. The event wasn't open to the public, but basically 20 of the best riders in the world had two runs to get one of the five spots the finals on Saturday with Logan Martin, Brandon Loupos, and Brian Fox (top three from Minneapolis 2018). Definitely a hard one to judge...your thoughts on the results?

Damn kevin peraza with the 360 downwhip can can
Again Our BMX, thanks for the excellent footage and especially that you cut out all of the dead spots in between. 💚👍I did watch it live but still kudos to you ❣✌
Thanks for saying thanks 🙏

Thank you for responding, most UA-camrs don't. Maybe we'll meet personally someday, that way I can shake your hand. Consider it done, but will you recognize me? lol
😲😃✌
Damn!!!! Editing this one up real quick. I just watched it live a few hours ago.
Damn hope Kevin Peraza is ok that was a nasty wreck 🤦♂️
Matt Hubbard such an unreal trick, he’s quickly gaining legendary status.
my name is ryan I know kevin peraza is a badass 🤘
How Pat got beat by Dennis is beyond me.
Ryan Cranage right... I feel like Pat Casey was super under scored.
@@barlowjmb Yeah he was big time
Old school freestyler here.It is incredible what you guys are doing today.Bikes i have had 2 Hutch Trickstars,Haro Master and a Sport,GT i think it was the pro freestyle it was a new design one with the double bend in the down tube.My gen invented the wooden Quarter pipe. The Hutches were my favored bikes great head tube angle.
Thank you for the footage! I really appreciated seeing this and how quickly it was on here. Also good filming
So psyched Ben Wallace got in. His 3 look backs are the best in BMX
So sick
Damn this event actually looking good this year
Can't wait till contest day! Super sick
Without the quarter pipe a lot of park dudes ain’t making it to the finals I see
Tru Dat ❣
Good aye
no its almost all park riders in the finals lol
@@BMXFU This haha
Thank god putting the quarter pipe on a dirt course was just stupid to begin with
Thank you for the quick and great coverage! Makes me feel like i m at the contest!
Love how quickly and how good the filming was love it 🤘🚲
Holy crap!! These guys ride so smooth. That dirt looks hard AF!
Are Enarson´s parents in the jury or what
NPJdirtbikes dude’s runs were butter and tech as all hell
Love this setup so nice, Was tucking and pumping in my seat the whole video lol
Bar or whip which one is it gonna be possibly both?
Thanks for uploading these 🤟
Thanks for saying thanks!
GRANDE SHAPOL REPRESENTANDO LA CASA!
Do the paramedics at xgames get suprised when someone flogs themselves and just get up like nothing
So...the slo-mo trick at the end is a double cash roll?!?!?! Also the end of that run was backflip to barspin to barspin back. Fing beautiful.
The first trick is a front Cork 1080 but it's also called a twister. It originally comes from slopestyle.
I saw 720 to cash roll am I wrong?
i didn't watch all the video but i bet DENNIS ENARSON won #sarcasm
Both of Buckworth's runs are clean and with a high difficulty. How come Ben Wallace's placed higher at 3rd?
Buckworth's tricks are pretty simple. Wallace threw in a bunch of combos and also flip whipped the step up which nobody was doing
holy fuck peraza is on another level with combos steezus
WHO IS GLAD THEY REMOVED THAT DAMN QUARTER PIPE FROM DIRT???
MEEEEEEE
Ajxni yeah fuck that quarter
Really ??? Enarson ahead of so many sick runs with “simple” stuff like that? Wtf
Was thinking the same thing. Giving him a good score just cuz who he is. Hoping he will put on a show in the finals. Garbage
Dennis made his runs look good/effortless, also he throws in switch spins which no one else was doing- I think that’s why his score was higher than others.
Im sure he will send heavy during comp, he’s pretty crazy, but yeah I agree about the weak run
yup
I mean it was different from the rest of the Riders. Whips are cool but its being used too much. Its nice seeing something different. We'll just have to wait for finals
whos judging this and how tf did peraza not get into finals with his first run? **FLIPPITY WHIPPITY**
Yeah lot of guys got screwed today. I think Peraza and Pat Casey were criminally underscored
Adam Stauffer I thought he did get into finals, is it only the best 10 guys that make it to finals or what?
@@manuel233 Nope only the top 5
The only explanation i have is that the judges didn't have a good angle and thought Kevin fuck up the step up, but could not see the can can was the plan all the way. For me that was the best run of the day and it got scored 9th place. Judging is super hard, and they have really good once so i can only imagine something went wrong during that run
Manobras top mais 👍👍
What do they judge, same tricks? Kevin and shapol's run were the best by far, style, complexity and fluidity
Kevin should have made finals, for sure.
Where the hecks the crowd at?
Ten back flips
How is it that the NFL draws so much more people than this. This is 10 times cooler and more interesting . It just keeps progressing year after year after year along with skateboarding and motocross. Yet football is just the same ol shit
Thumbz Up this Video❣
What was that first trick Godziek did?
Twister
Real Donald Trump thank you.
Falling is an art form...
Can somebody explain to me how Dennis Enarson takes 6th here with that regular run?
Regular run??? Flipwhip, suicide no hander double truck, opposite suicide no hander double truck. He literally had the most technical run of the contest. It's not all about whips and barspins.
You probably don't ride much otherwise you'd understand how hard his tricks where. He was the only guy out there doing tricks and spins both regular and opposite. That's hard as fuck and the judges knew it.
Fuck outta here with your know-nothing opinion.
All I have to say to you guys is take another look back at Jake Leiva (16th place, and Nick Bruce (13th place). Tell me these two riders didnt execute amazing tricks and show serious heart. I didnt get that from Enarson run, sorry.
Who won the elimination btw?
Godziek
Ohhh... i thought it was ranked according to who will play first
Thanks
What happened to Logan Martin?
He’s pre qualified for finals
@@OurBMX Ahh I see. Thanks for the reply :)
Que caida de kevin 😨.
Anyone know what happen to Toohey?
he broken his ankle at woodward
BMXer_ Moka was actually keen to see how he went, he hasn’t had the best luck with his ankle
do they just pick the winners out of a hat or what? almost any two randomly picked runs could've easily been swapped in place and i wouldn't have known.
Most judges are old school or mid school BMXers, they can't even register the difficulty level
Is it me or four hits like that not enough? I feel like there used to be more
Actually there used to be less. This is probably one of the biggest X-Games dirt courses.
Adam Stauffer maybe it was because I was younger. I know early 00’s had five but thought there was more ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Shout out to Kevin Peraza, hope you're ok bro...
wtf!! Pedaling in the middle is DQ!
Dennis the menace enarson
Saludos Soy El PRIMERO en Dar Like 😎
Dennis Enarson. Lol
Damn shame if peraza doesn't make the finals. The fuk?
And like I said in the comment that got erased- where the fuck is that Joel Bondu dude....loupos level
We don’t delete comments unless they’re crazy out of line, so not sure what happened there.
I wasn't blaming u guys at all....know what I mean
But a lot of shit really did get erased...maybe my phone, maybe illumine.d
I'm not so dumb to blindly insult u guys r integrally part of bringing quality bmx footage to my phone and sole access to it....grateful
There's a lot of annoying b.s. on utube
everyone is wrecking on the last jump..wtf..the 3rd jump should be a more likely place to wreck..
Can we please see someone do an mtber Emil johansson OPPO turn down to kick an oppo rotated downside I guess twhip out of it... what porn that is....loupos?...jumps not big enough as in slopestyle?
Fuck I mean OPPO UN turndown
And I posted that comment on the hour long x games broadcast wtfucking fuck no shit at all
If they really stretch out as far as they can of these guys should b able to pull it off....wow
If Godziek lands his runs, nobody can touch him in this event. How would you even beat that? Even if you're Baldock or Wallace?
Oh, and what's with this Enarson introduced as a "rider's rider" and then getting overscored and getting cheers from all the riders in the stands that nobody else got? Uhhh, is he starting the scientology of BMX? I'm in. Let's get weird, guys
yeh, i think his run didn't deserve that placing
Because Dennis is the most respected rider in the world. His runs were also technically difficult, not just flips, bars, whips.
@@adamant5550 So are we suggesting being the most respected impacts competitions? I'm not saying Dennis didn't ride well, I'm saying I don't see how his second run got 6th. The double trucks both ways were nice, but I can't see that run being top 10.
@@TeddyParker Obviously its subjective, but Dennis's second run was arguably more difficult than Mike Varga's run. It's the kind of run that Corey Bohan used to do and won all those X-Games. You may prefer to watch guys hucking it with double backflips, quad whips, and cash rolls, but judges recognize that 360s both ways is extremely difficult and rarely attempted in contests.
@@adamant5550 little bit of irony in that statement. Dennis is skilled at spinning both ways because he practiced it, just like baldock can do a 7 whip because he practiced it. What you probably meant was doing trucks both ways is creative/unique and judges reward that. Which is a fair statement. And no, I really don't prefer flips and whips. I'm more of a Kris Fox/Corey Walsh type guy. I still think Enarson was overscored here and at Rebel Jam which he won.
fuck man im 2nd
Looks like will be a fucking boring finals full of flips and spins. Most original and fun to watch is Peraza and didn't qualified, fuck X-Games!
Really miss Bohan, Doyle, Nasty... days. At least invite Matt Cordova!
