I just turned 59 and love riding my 2022 Honda shadow 750 (San Antonio, TX). I've been riding 12 years now. I'm also in the best shape of my life now or equal to my 20's. I workout in the gym everyday and hike. Physical fitness plays a huge role in how we age. Riding is also my therapy. I need to ride to relax my mind from my stressful finance job. I hope to ride into my 70's, but who knows. Thanks for the video by the way. Love it.
Thank you for an excellent comment and also excellent advice as we age. I really need to start an exercise plan. The job I have is pretty physical. However, it wouldn't hurt to get back into shape. I also think it will help my mental acuity as well.
Well said enjoyed your comments I to have had close calls and one bad accident but I couldn't get riding out of my system . I am now 70 yrs old and still on my Shadow and me and the better half still loving it and I know one day I'll have to stop but atm that day is not here !
Very inspiring comment, and it's great to hear that you and your better half are still riding strong. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment!!!!
Thank you for sharing..,, well put. 71.5 and still riding and enjoying my Shadow Aero. At this age, other than spending quality time with my adult son, there’s nothing I’m more passionate about.
Tim, Doug here, I'm about to turn the BIG 6-0, I'm starting to forget things. I'm starting to get a "dad bod", I feel ugly beyond words! Undesirable is a close 2nd! I'm dealing with a case of: no use to anyone for any reason. November 9th is my day. 😵💔Doug
Hey brother I’m 65 I have 2 bikes a 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1600 and a 2015 Honda Stateline 1300 . That being said I hit a deer 2 years ago on my Nomad God had his hand on me and I didn’t go down just a little bit of damage and no physical damage. I still ride God has blessed me with good health and keep on riding we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Great video brother. Every day is a blessing.😎
Wow I will say that it was more than luck that you weren't seriously hurt brother!!! God was definitely looking out for you. Deer strikes kill more bikers than most folks realize. Great comment!!! Thanks for sharing your story , ride safe!!!
Till you can't or just don't want to, Awareness/body and will..... Just have nicer suspension setups and time to trade in the supersport for a adventure or cruiser for comfort...
Dang, is this the geriatric motorcycle channel lol? Actually, the largest base of my subscribers is from 40 to 50 years of age. You're in the right spot!!!
