I like when Marvel has villains do things like 2:00, when Beck actually looks into something he's suspicious about when his cohort brushes it off as "a flock of birds" lol
The dude is quite smart
The flock of birds reference is a running gag in How It Should of Ended Spiderman parody videos... i believe it also has a reference in Spiderman 3 when Sandman is created.
This is the difference between catching Spider-Man red handed and accidentally creating Sandman
@@vetwar2x445 i dont think marvel is getting inspiration from a small yt channel
@@YellowFlash34 How it Should Have Ended is the furthest thing from a "small yt channel" i could imagine. especially in the case of How Spider-Man 3 should have ended, that video was one of the most popular videos on the internet.
Love how Mysterio just casually says "Yeah, I'm gonna kill him" like he's so done with Peter
Jake Gyllenhall when Tom spoils literally anything:
To be fair, if you are trying to fake a disastrous monster using drones you stole from your ex boss who's dead and make it look like you are stopping it, by faking an alter ego superhero so you can be known as "The Worlds Greatest Superhero" and some little shit wearing Red and Black Spandex exposes your plan, I'd be fed up aswell.
@@IPostMeAndMyFriendsRecordings I mean that "little shit wearing Red and Black spamdex" can lift buses if that helps.
They got his character so well. He’s a petty drama queen, and that’s his funny side, but he’s also incredibly ruthless and cruel.
I love it so much. Such a good film too
3:22 i just realized that might be when Beck recorded his final message shown at the post-credits scene, then they edited together parts of Peter ordering the drones that happens after. Very subtle details

@@Carcosahead tbh I can see beck coming back to life, as you seen in the trailer there’s probably going to be the sinister 6 the final villain might be Scorpio or beck that’s my guess
@@niggapods2050 I remember comments when the movie first aired how Beck had dozens of chances to actually kill SpiderMan, that his goal was to prepare Peter, a crash course on adulthood. Imagine if drones were transferred to someone more sinister. Beck isn't some psychopath, his logic sounds too solid.
I think it could've when the drones knocked Spider-Man in the car and into the river, and was out of webs, come back in and coming when a new plan. After that, Beck said "Finally. Hey, William, how we doing?", Then William said, "Illusion almost back up. I don't how you are going to spin this."
I think Tony Stark would have written code that prevented Edith from harming certain members of the Avengers, especially Spider Man for this very reason. He also would have written in a backdoor for Pepper Potts to access.
Good point.
It doesn't make sense for Tony stark of all ppl to not have a fail safe on edith
Yeah. Beck should have disabled the failsafe some how, it should have been part of his plan (written in the movie)
@@bluesuperman1 yep or anything, like spiderman is going to lose but suddenly Pepper Potts delays it or stops it by accessing the mainframe...anytime you spend time writing these thing in, you get more audience respect.
But what if one of the avengers got brain Washed or something like for example if hulk got the venom symbiote
Spiderman movies of the mcu have a very pleasing and solo final act I love it
2:36 The guy on the left was like "Oh Shit, Fury is about to be... per... fect... ly... fine.... well alright then"
Tbh that’s funny ash
its cool to see how Talos's Wife has become such a good shooter in a long time
Imagine if he could gain access to make a Suit that would actually protect him instead of just actually relying on his Illusions.
Wouldn’t really be mysterio then.
@@blturn It would be if he would actually make Mysterio real itself instead of Illusions.
@Snowflake I mean the character Mysterio, it wouldn't be 'Mysterio'. The same way Hawkeye without his bow isn't Hawkeye.
While Mysterio eventually has a semi-decent suit in the comics to help him out a bit, he ultimately relies on illusions and misdirection all the time.

@@realityinconsistent1616 Dude. If you really think peter is iron boy Jr, then you missed his whole character arc. I mean, sure, he uses stark tech like he did in the ultimate comics, but he was never his sidekick. In fact peter never even listens to iron man. When Tony told him to stay close to the ground, he ignored him multiple times only to stop the vulture. He ignored him when Tony told Friday to send him home. In FFH the whole world was asking him about him becoming the new Ironman, he never even wanted to be Ironman, because he was so different from Tony. He never asked for Tony's help and never used his tech against the villains which makes him independent as well. He defeated mysterio purely with his spidey sense without even using any tech. He defeated the Vulture literally wearing a hoodie. So he is an independent Spider-Man with his own identity

Exactly, he was a fantastic villain. I fucking LOVED the end of his movie where it seems like Beck is doing a dying monologue and then almost shoots Spider-Man because he was distracting Spider-Man, cloaking himself, and projecting another one of himself to draw Spider-Man in closer, the whole time. Absolutely brilliant.
He’s just mentally unstable, if he was sane he would be a formidable villain.
@@ayu8994
It’s because he was mentally unstable that he’s a villain in the first place. If he was sane he would’ve tried to steal back his technology and malign Tony Stark as under appreciating his genius now that he’s dead and can’t defend himself.
It’s like an homage to Spider-Man 3 when that one scientist at the particle accelerator said that Flint being inside the machine was “probably a bird”, but Beck actually checked the irregularity this time.

beck is dumb asf
When Stark Created EDITH, he should have set it for him to only have administrative actions, and Peter should be a user with minimal privileges and not given administrative access to Peter to prevent this from happening.
A) this was a protocol following Tony’s death. All admin level functions would be permanently locked out if that were the case, which is something tony would never allow. B) give Pete a break. He thought he was doing the right thing.
@@Savagewolver oh please, stop defending that plot hole.
Tony set Admin Permissions on the original Spidey Suit too, yet Ned was able to access them after some tinkering.
Tony Stark could've easily made a Training Wheels protocol to protect the glasses. Then, as Peter learnt more/grew older, he'd get access to more features.
The twist here could be that Peter decides to give the glasses to Mysterio after the Bar scene, and Mysterio breaks the
It would've been so easy to fix the glasses. Here's how I'd have done it:
* Fury gives Peter the glasses.
* Pete tries the glasses on in the Bus and meets EDITH.
* EDITH is an AI custom made for Peter. It can be used do to stuff like keep track of things, call people, or make video logs. The main difference is that EDITH can be used independent of the suit and has more capabilities than the suit's AI.
* Peter and Mysterio fight together, and they bond
* Peter gives Mysterio the glasses as a token of appreciation. (Peter's reason for doing so could be that he already has an AI, so he wants to give Mysterio one too)
* Mysterio then unlocks the full potential of the AI, and then uses the drones to create illusions.
This is kind of a stretch, but I think it follows Tony and Peter's character arc to leave out the restrictions. Over the course of the movies, Tony goes from considering Parker to be a gimmick to actually respecting him and trusting him.
The whole giving glasses to Mysterio thing definitely has plotholes, but I don't think this is one of them.
Edith should’ve alerted Peter firsthand with the glasses on about his face
@Shocktane bloody what? This statement is so stupid it makes my head hurts.
You don't need access to military drones and weapons that can destroy entire cities in order to give your characters development
Spiderman underestimates Quentin Beck in the comics early on. But Mysterio uses his special effects skills very well even fooling Spiderman into thinking he died.
Yes. Robbing a bank in Spidey's name, fooling him into thinking that he died. Mysterio was truly an illusionist in the comics.
That’s the only thing I didn’t like about this Mysterio. He wasn’t sly or cunning, just a maniac with illusion tech.
Mysterio almost made Daredevil kill a baby.

Okay so correct me if I'm wrong but why didn't they come up with a possible explanation for this last illusion rather than come up with it on the spot? Up until then they had the time and resources to practice everything else so why not have one ready for their final great act?
Because Beck literally went crazy after he finds out that Peter knows about his lies. So he decided to went all out and came up with excuses on the fly.
Plus, Beck already finds out that Peter's friends also know about the lies, so he's basically focused on eliminating them using the illusion instead of going with the planned rehearsal where he defeated the last Elemental.
