Pretty sure a software such as Edith could have recorded and replayed that entire conversation. You know, in case it was necessary to prove someone's guilt or innocence...
it wasn’t that, the fact that his identity got leaked was the major problem, murdock defended him successfully therefore he didn’t go to jail, but like in today’s society, accused = guilty, so peter himself was controversial
Beck’s team had full control over EDITH at that point, so to make the accusations against Spider-Man stick they probably still held some control over the glasses so that recording couldn’t be tapped. It’s not hard to assume that’s the case.
Something to remember about spiderman is if he relies on spideysense, he is untouchable. The only time he gets hit is when he wisecracks or strikes a cool pose. He's the most ADD superhero out there :D
If Peter had the symbiote suit or his iron spider suit then he would have destroyed mysterio in a second. I like how peter let his spider senses guide him through the drone army and the way he reached out and grabbed the gun out of mysterio hand just shows how his spider senses are more in tuned 😊

Ever since Mysterio (Quentin Beck) reappeared from the dead in a Daredevil comic from the mid 90's, I am completely convinced he's not gone and we may not even have seen the real him yet if he's that good of an illusion technology expert.
Vulture is trying to get back at the system that took his power away and raise a family. Mysterio is the scientist that invents products while the ceo takes the credit.
@@TheSjuris I mean the thing is that Beck was schizophrenic, take a look at the civil war clip and you'll realize there was no laugh like he remembers it.
Cap & Spider suit both have to have some form of Ballistic protection. Being designed by shield & or Tony. Maybe with conjunction with their durability. (Not the one Steve stole from the museum) Even with Spider sense, I just don't see none of those bullets not hitting him.
I find it really hard to believe that as smart as tony is he didn’t implement some type of fail safe for the glasses to at least not be able to target Peter
Pretty sure a high tech suit like that does have a sort of recording feature. I dont know why peter never thought of using that to defend himself from mysterio's last act of deceit (telling everyone peter executed weapon systems etc etc) But eh, his identity was revealed so no evidence can save that tbh
Part of Peter’s arc in Homecoming was learning to rely on his own skills and trust himself rather than gadgets to do the job for him. He made the new suit in a short time, so I’m assuming he only grabbed the web wings and taser web because that’s all he needed: webs to get close and tasers to short out the drones.
Agreed, normally they’d just be eye candy in a film like this but they actually knocked down one of the drones and peppered the other one with their rifles
You can see in 7:39 how mysterious uses his watch briefly before he was hit. This is how he created the illusion of dying and escape. Also, the drone that hit him pointed in the direction of the illusion
It took me a while to figure that out, when EDITH told him he was in the line of fire. It didn't make sense the first time around, and I thought maybe she was talking about shots bouncing around or something.
We gave Sony so much shit saying they will fuck up Spiderman and should just hand it to Marvel Studio, yet almost all of the Spidey movies were quality movies and box office successes. How the turn tables... :/

Well of course, No Way Home takes the lesson of this movie and shits all over it. It's wonderful fan-service but as part of the continuity, it's terrible. The entire lesson in this film is not to blindly trust people and in the next film he openly frees and trusts MULTIPLE VILLAINS resulting in him losing EVERYTHING including Aunt May.
I'd say the action is most definitely better, but I'd say both final scenes both do Spider-man right. In Homecoming, obviously, Peter saves the vulture after this suit fails. Displaying his empathy and that not only is he non-lethal but he also still cares for the villains. somewhat... In this scene we see him not only using his powers efficiently and productively to take out a large amount of enemies, but we are also once again displayed his genius, he doesn't need his webs to do what he does, he creates a plan to break through and confront Mysterio. Not only that but it's after he completely bounces back from the betrayal from Beck. Overrall, the action is awesome , such an epic fight. But when you think about the story, what led up to both final climaxes, they're both fairly done similar and well to display Spider-man. So glad that they didn't butcher this character, and he personally ended up being my favourite in the franchise.
One of the few MCU villain adaptations I genuinely love. They managed to capture Mysterio's illusory abilities perfectly while doing the whole "relatively realistic" MCU adapting, not to mention some of the best special effects in the entire franchise.
What if one of the drone got a clear video of mysterios lie, and how he tried to shoot peter, and that video gets leaked so he gets exposed and peters life gets back to normal ( I know its made up shit but like bruh who wants to see spiderman lonely, let him have a girlfriend, or just ned ffs ) Edit : i just remembered that right before the battle on the statue of liberty, peter livestreamed / recorded a live video to the daily bugle, so they might still have it in their files, so there is a chance that peter still might get known
I wasn’t a big fan of Mysterio the first time I saw this movie and even the second I liked him more but kinda thought he was ehh. But his last line about how “people need something to believe in and nowadays they’ll believe anything.” Actually made me really reexamine him, cause it is such a damn good and powerful line. That he is literally the perfect character for.

@@sumthingwikked4257 no blame marvel they rejected venom
i like that they show the beefeaters actually DOING something. they're hopelessly outgunned, but they still have a job to do. Queen and country indeed. Side note: it's funny how Mysterio's extensive support staff kinda just dissapeared after this. His scam would not have had a PRAYER without them...and assuming he's not actually dead, it would be interesting to see him try to do anything on his OWN.
What's beef eaters?
@@GemigenFRX the guards in the funny red costumes. the traditional guards of the Tower of London. Going up
Spiderman was always the coolest superhero
Tom Holland Vs Jake Gyllenhaal And His Army Of Drones. This is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!.
Growing up in the 80's, this scene is how I would have imagined Spider-Man fighting Mysterio on the big screen. I enjoyed this as a 40+ y.o. fan.
The character development of tom spider man in this movie was amazing
For all the good it did with the next instalment ruining his character
@@Osindileyo How did it ruin his character?

The vfx of the drones is amazing.

1:48 Get back from The Kings Guard!
It’s funny I’m pretty sure they don’t actually carry ammunition
I didn't realize that scene was had there before 🤔 😂
This is probably the best fight in Tom Holland Spiderman movies
Something to remember about spiderman is if he relies on spideysense, he is untouchable. The only time he gets hit is when he wisecracks or strikes a cool pose. He's the most ADD superhero out there :D
If Peter had the symbiote suit or his iron spider suit then he would have destroyed mysterio in a second. I like how peter let his spider senses guide him through the drone army and the way he reached out and grabbed the gun out of mysterio hand just shows how his spider senses are more in tuned 😊
Stark saw what Thanos was doing with the reality stone and decided he wanted one
To be fair, I’m also in love with Spider-Man’s aunt

This is Spiderman, no webs left, only improvisation
How they incorporated Mysterio is amazing! Like to be able to make his illusions make sense is so cool! Also his arc, going from a trustable character to the villian. He is an illusion. His theme song also reflects it where its heroic in the start and sininster by the end
8:22
He didn't even flinch
8:26
That stare in his eyes, he's not scared, he's not even angry, he's over it, he's sick of the lying and the illusions, that's why I loved how much he grew up here.
Nice to see the guard fighting back and not just folding like cops/soldiers always do in these movies.
Ever since Mysterio (Quentin Beck) reappeared from the dead in a Daredevil comic from the mid 90's, I am completely convinced he's not gone and we may not even have seen the real him yet if he's that good of an illusion technology expert.
Yall suckkk
Vulture seemed like a sympathetic character compared to Mysterio.
Vulture is trying to get back at the system that took his power away and raise a family. Mysterio is the scientist that invents products while the ceo takes the credit.
Vulture didn't "seem" like a sympathetic character. He was.
@@TheSjuris I mean the thing is that Beck was schizophrenic, take a look at the civil war clip and you'll realize there was no laugh like he remembers it.

The most improbable aspect of this is the tech actually functioning properly
Cap & Spider suit both have to have some form of Ballistic protection. Being designed by shield & or Tony. Maybe with conjunction with their durability. (Not the one Steve stole from the museum) Even with Spider sense, I just don't see none of those bullets not hitting him.
Dont get ur point ??
I find it really hard to believe that as smart as tony is he didn’t implement some type of fail safe for the glasses to at least not be able to target Peter
That was excellent death acting! Jake Gyllenhall was amazing here!
Can we talk about how dangerous an emotionally hurt Spider-man can be?
Lesson: Don't mess with this dude's emotions.
Also it's a shame that it was the real Nick Fury or Hill in action. Just a pair of skrulls.
Kraven: A vengeful lion will visit it's own grave.
Wait..., Peter's suit does record everything what Peter sees right?
Pretty sure a high tech suit like that does have a sort of recording feature.
I dont know why peter never thought of using that to defend himself from mysterio's last act of deceit (telling everyone peter executed weapon systems etc etc)
But eh, his identity was revealed so no evidence can save that tbh
This was a new suit for him that he designed 10 minutes before, so it’s likely he forgot that function or thought he didn’t need it
Y
this is a suit he cobbled together in a few hours
Part of Peter’s arc in Homecoming was learning to rely on his own skills and trust himself rather than gadgets to do the job for him. He made the new suit in a short time, so I’m assuming he only grabbed the web wings and taser web because that’s all he needed: webs to get close and tasers to short out the drones.
mj reminds me of myself i love telling the truth😂😂😭💀
Liar
-> lie
One thing I like that no one is talking about is the royal guards actually being somewhat useful and taking a few drones down with great accuracy
2:52 how does cap do that got me on the floor lol 😂
What i still fid strange is thay Beck didnt hate Peter, he thought he was a good kid
he says that just before pulling out a gun and shooting at him. I don't really think he cared. Lying and trickery was kinda his thing...
He liked him but felt he had no choice
When Peter is holding the sign as a shield and that battery thingy, it sort of reminds me of cap holding his shield with one hand and thors hammer with the other (not so much for the battery tho)

Love this scene.
This is my favorite spider man movie in MCU. Yes I prefer it to No Way Home.

Much better final battle scene than homecoming
Yup think this movie overall is way better
@@HarryOrPoke everyone is important to someone, even bad people, which is why caring for villains is a right thing to do too

( I know its made up shit but like bruh who wants to see spiderman lonely, let him have a girlfriend, or just ned ffs )
Edit : i just remembered that right before the battle on the statue of liberty, peter livestreamed / recorded a live video to the daily bugle, so they might still have it in their files, so there is a chance that peter still might get known

One of the craziest and most Spiderman fights
I wasn’t a big fan of Mysterio the first time I saw this movie and even the second I liked him more but kinda thought he was ehh. But his last line about how “people need something to believe in and nowadays they’ll believe anything.” Actually made me really reexamine him, cause it is such a damn good and powerful line. That he is literally the perfect character for.
