Hey thanks for the video, but hang on, where did you place the other 2 mics? And what are you using mic wise? That would be super useful and that’s the set up I’m going for right now. Thanks!
Well, yes, however you do need to take care of them, but don’t value them more than they’re actually worth. Have fun with them, experiment, as long as your cautious with it being hit or banger up, otherwise do whatever you want. Put it on the floor to record the room vibration of drums
Do you just put it through a compressor to get that sound at the end. Im looking to get a sound like that and have some nice mics. Not sure if I should invest in a compressor now. At4050, oktava mk012's, trying to figure out a mono setup. Re20 on kick. Thanks!

I've recently found myself using a 3 MIC setup for LIVE Drums.
I really wish this would be longer, is this only the 251 knock of or all three mics?
How sensitive are microphones? I always treat my condensers like they are made of glass. Am I being overly cautious?

My buddy Dale Watson about booking your studio and you as will as some days at Sam’s
I agree with not hitting the drums so hard when recording.🤖📡
