The story of Zhu Bajie eating pepino melon ( GinSeng Fruit ) in Journey to the West is deeply imprinted in our minds. It's said that it takes pepino melon 300 years to bloom and 300 years to bear fruit. After eating it, people can become immortal. When children eat too fast and gobble, the old will say that they are like Zhu Bajie who is eating pepino melon.
The pepino melon grown in the unique karst landform of Yunnan Stone Forest has a faint honeydew melon fragrance, and it's sweet and juicy. It's appetizing and thirst-quenching! A distant relative of my family, my great uncle came to visit us for a few days, and this year's pepino melon is just ripe. I made a delicious meal with the sweet pepino melon. I hope that the elders can live a long and healthy life as in the cartoon after eating the pepino melon feast.

Thank you so much. I grow Pepino in Queensland Australia and I've known for years, it is under-rated. Many people have not heard of it. It's so easy to grow and I believe as we enter un-certain times, it will come into it's own as a food crop that is even easier to grow than tomatoes. A beautiful and uplifting and for me, an emotional story.

香港間中也有賣的, 口味是淡淡的甜帶一點點的腥, 吃完後喉間有少少的澀, 不大討喜, 買過一回, 見到也不會再買了。
@@manchungsing1585 可能香港买到的是不熟的，不熟就不好吃，黄黄的比较好吃，水很多，不是特别填，为了方便储存运输很多果农都是八成熟就摘了，管理不是很规范，很多地区都是第一次种，全国已经很多人说不好吃了，实际上是由于产业链不成熟造成的，挺好吃的，下次买挑黄黄的那种买。
