It seems that we can grow anything colorful in Yunnan. Although we haven’t eaten the pomegranates of our home for several years due to no harvest, there are countless pomegranates in the orchard. Sweet and sour, hard-seeded and soft-seeded, dark red, bright red, pink, and white, there are all kinds of pomegranates! I picked a large bamboo basket of pomegranates, made a big container of wine for my grandpa, made the jelly I promised Keke last time, and made the cake I wanted to have for a long time. This table of sweet food is a reward for the hard work in the harvest this autumn.

Hearing your grandma say that they didnt experience eating as much food growing up made me tear up. It reminded me of my grandpa’s life when he was young. Happy that your family now is able to eat and try so many delicious food, and that you are able share it here with us 💕

Thank you for the lovely uplifting video. I had a very bad fall at home recently which has left me quite poorly and under the weather. I always look forward to your videos, they give me such joy. Pomegranates remind me of my childhood when my mother walked me to kindergarten and primary school. We would always walk past a little greengrocers selling fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and fresh cut flowers. When in season, a big juicy pomegranate was a very special treat for doing well at school if I asked politely.😊💞🇬🇧

I am slowly thank you. The masses of bruises have gone, just still left with lots of aches and pains and a few fractures healing in my foot. Trying very hard not to try and fall again. Worst part was having to wait nearly 8 hours lying on my kitchen floor for an ambulance.
This sounds so awful, I'm so glad you were strong enough to bear up the 8 hours and still find joy in little things like those. I'm also wishing you an easy recovery.🌷💐
