Zinc 2.0 Blaster Design - What I Changed

- For all new blasters, I have to get the STL files ready for mass production at the shop. Sometimes that involves tweaking the original STL file to take hardware we already stock, as well as making changes for easier assembly. (Even a few minutes of time saved in production adds up fast.)

Frontline Foam is a hobby shop in Provo, Utah, dedicated to making aftermarket nerf more accessible to the nerf hobby. If you're looking for a specialized, custom, 3D-printed blaster or parts, Frontline Foam is for you.
The shop is run by 10 employees who build each and every blaster by hand. The videos you see on our channel are often filmed in the very shop where we build and test your blasters. All blaster designs are produced with designer permission, and often collaboration.
Frontline Foam was started by Derrikk Sun, who says his passion for building nerf blasters over the past 12 years has accidentally overblown into a small and rapidly growing business.
We believe that nerf is not only just for fun, but can be a healthy outlet for stress contributing to serious mental health issues. We stand by mental health awareness & effective recovery efforts.
We aspire to be an asset in the nerf hobby and our communities in general to improve people's lives through fun.

How far does a full length rainbow pistol with a k14 shoot?
@@jaygerbrewer Very far. It gets around 300fps with the k14 spring.
Hey is there a hardwear only kit that I could buy?
@@agtn8769 Hardware kits are only available through the designer at the moment. We may be producing our own at some point, though!

I really appreciate you making all of this content on the blaster for potential buyers so we know exactly what we're getting ourselves into with the build, honestly this is the one I'm buying purely because I know the most about it

Back when I got my Zinc from you my objective was to use the hardware and all of the other bits in my own frame and slide. Had to go back to 118 to get a second Zinc worth of hardware.
Then I needed more Zinc so I went back for another hardware kit. Now I have 3.
Purchased a zinc from you guys and I love it. The build was as easy as advertised and with the heavy spring it hits seriously hard. I would recommend this build to pretty much anyone who knows which end of a screwdriver to use.
Very much helpful, I already know all these issues since I already built mine lol, but to anyone wanting to build one now, they know what they're getting into and now have great helpful files I assume!

Bought a hardware kit from 118 design and the tolerates on my prints are going as smooth and thinking of reprinting everything with ur file set but can i just use the regular screws as i dont want to go through the trouble of getting new screws

I just placed my order and got a zinc with a black top and dark grey bottom! I am so excited to literally main this and win so many rounds, I placed my order a couple days ago will I get the new version or old version?

No, our agreement with the designer is that we don't sell hardware kits, but you can go straight to 118 Design for those!
What’s the average fps for the Zinc?
I received it last week (7/21/22) with a cracked slide and I can't get in contact with Frontline Foam. Their website service form is not working. They are not returning my emails. Why is there no phone number for them? The pistol is no good with a cracked slide. I'm about to cancel payment.
Did this ever get sorted?
