    Beautiful and superb cinematography. Kudos to the DP and film crew that shot this. The treatment, contrast, and editing conveyed the mood eloquently.

    Okay, this is one of the very best short films of this series to date. Great music and editing as well as wonderful images. I have a pre-order in and can’t wait!

    Going to be honest here……. The video content is the highlight. The photographer is good but the video component is more prominent in this video.

    Hi, Knut, what an impressive video and photographs you presented there. Absolutely brilliant. I've enjoyed the panoramic video format you produced from Xpro3 to XT4, and the fujinon 50mm f1 lens are a joy to watch. Love the series.

    This looks so moody! Love It! I'm just guessing but filming done on X-T3 4K Acros Film Simulation?

      G1 Production It’s the X-T3 for sure. Don’t know how Mikkel Engelschiøn graded it but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Acros (love that simulation).

    All these 'Different Breed' short clips make me really laugh. It's as if you could only get these lovely shots and dreamy stills if you own this quirky new camera. My goodness - not only could I get the same or similar shots on either of my X-H1's, but my 6 year old X-T1 could take an image that you would barely notice any difference. I hate this current mood of 'built-in-obsolescence'. Once a digital camera is more than a couple/few years old then you have to off-load and get the new plastic(Titanium)/wonder. I'm not influenced one iota by this brainwashing - I'm sticking with my lovely H1's - one has a 16-55 'glued' onto it and the other the wonderful 90mm f2. Go Fuji. Philip

      that's called marketing and its intended both for existing and prospective fujifilm customers (try not to do it when your competition does that! see how that will work out ;). from the "mood" of your comment I assume that you are not completely not-influenced ;) And personally I really like some of these videos. That;'s the kind of marketing I can watch.

      Why bother? It's advertisement, and I find it more tastefully made than many other ads. As any ad, it's purpose is to make people buy this camera, and to like the Fuji brand. You should be happy, the more people buy those cameras, the more likely for Fuji to develop new and better cameras. No sales = mot R&D, not evolution. What I regret more in this video is that the Lofoten have become a photographers' "consumer product". Thousands of photo tourists now travel there and shoot the very same frames as 98% of the rest. Harbour of Reine, etc. Same as Island.

      I still use my X-H1, it’s a brilliant camera! My idea was, if you’re making a promotion video then try to make it inspirational for everyone! The beauty of the Fujifilm cameras is that they have a long lifespan, stretching over the production cycles. When you’re ready for a new camera, there will be one for you there! Cheers!

    Putting a film strip overlay on the image sequence.... 😤... Why lower the whole feeling of the film with cheap gimmicks.... And the background music is more "Japan" than northern Scandinavia....

  • @mikedevlin2048
    @mikedevlin2048 4 роки тому

    Why play Asian music as the soundtrack to a film made in the high north of Norway, the Lofoton archipelago ?? And adding a "film strip" overlay to images ???? I guess whoever edited this was more interested in showcasing their iMovie skills 🤪
    Probably highly popular with the masses of people that slavishly upgrade every time something new comes along and less so with people making a living making images....
