The beginning fight couldn’t have gone any better. They burned a gerblin alive, then froze and shattered him to death. They cut one in half down the middle. They chucked an ax 25 feet and killed one instantly. No damage taken, minimal property damage. I know it was practically a tutorial, but holy shit that was efficient.

It's going to be fucking wild starting over, both with the weird starting shenanigans and antics, and seeing when it finally gets the ball rolling proper. Coming back for my 4th watch through, and every time it's been at very different points in life, and I 100% agree on this changing brain chemistry. It always gives something different to take with you, and I can't wait to see where I am by the end of this for the 4th time and Amnesty for the 3rd. If you're new to D&D and you want ideas of how you can improvise as either a Player or a Dungeon Master, then the Adventure Zone is probably one of the best series to watch. The McElroys take a pre-made module and just run away with it.
bruh, the sponsor/messages segment at 1:18:30 was 10 minutes long. 2 sponsors, 2 messages from listeners, and a behind the scenes update, and I, a first time listener, wasn't bored. I can tell these guys do a podcast for a living because the sponsor readings sounded like a regular conversation and didn't make me dread listening to it, unlike some other ones I've heard. I will be returning to this podcast in the future!
I got the first two graphic novles of this series (by Carey Pietsh, highly reccomend) and I'm ready to listen to the actual campaign. Can't wait, let's do this.
The fact that the other goblins say not again when Justin, impersonating a goblin, says he got horny from killing tells me that that goblin on the bridge definitely had some secrets we didn't know about
I know, like. I love ya Crit Role but holy shiet divide them up a little better. Like an hour an episode. Sitting down for more than one 4 hour episode is *hard*
The funny thing is most episodes are averaging 3 to 5 hours. I can now sit for long periods of time cause it was quite the task watching all of the episodes

My friend DM’d a DND campaign based entirely on this arc as my first DND experience and I loved it. Bought my 13yr old brother the first book in the series and he loved it so much I bought him the other two books for Christmas. I think it’s time to start this podcast for real.

I found an audio clip from episode 63 from a camp camp animatic and I got so invested in the audio I needed to find to original series and here we are :D

I play dnd regularly and its fun and we have a decent story but i aspire to be able to world build the way you do. I am so excited to hear more from all of you but mostly with griffin as the DM

I listened to the full podcast a while ago and just heard the intro song for the first time in maybe a year. It made me so incredibly happy.

You should. This is absolutely nothing like critical role, it just starts off feeling similar to it. But you should give this a chance.
