Really miss this guy and his reviews - was passionate about riding and opened the sport up to so many worldwide! I am so sorry that we lost him in 2021. RIP
Lovely looking machine, looks like Triumph are attempting to take some sales away from Yamaha Tracer. Shame they have dropped the power level. Thanks for a great review.
Great review!! I'm struggling between this one and the Guzzi v85tt?! The Italian one has got more charm and this one looks more responsive about the engine. What would you suggest?
great review as always, I was disappointed that this long distance adventure touring bike(!) doesnt come with cruise control, not even as an extra option!
I dont mind not having cruise control, quick shifter, heated grip & seat, centre stand, etc even as options. But engine / radiator heat at your knees is a real bugbear for city commuting. Though not as bad as Ducati, engine/radiator heat is a longstanding issue that Triumph has not really addressed very effectively.
@@cengizkurban if you ask me. NC is a mulitool, but without soul. Its like a diesel Skoda Octavia. It has a big push on the bottom, but after 3-4k RPM is loosing his power, exactly like the diesel engines. It is good, but you dont have any feeling if you riding it.
Great review, thx a lot! I'm assuming this bike is more fun than the Kawasaki Versus? I'm struggling with which one to buy, especially since the Triumph is in my country thousands of euro's more but that's okay if it's worth it.
rode both bikes one after the other for me the Triumph won hands down, the KTM seat felt to firm, to much buffeting, changing direction was good, brakes felt very good, it felt stiff and light, more like an off road bike to me, riding position was good, standing up felt awkward, knees were all over the place with no were to go, i wouldnt want to go on long trips with it, its engine performance was great with plenty of bite, the Triumphs seat felt great, riding position excellent, felt firm on the road and heavier than the KTM, standing was very good, brakes felt very good, changing direction was very good, very little buffeting, engine power is very good, felt like i could munch plenty of miles in a day, i got of the bike with a huge grin and smile i absolutely loved it, to the point i will be buying won.
I am a big fan of your videos and I especially like when you say 'nimble' in your reviews 😀 This Tiger is probably the first one that is not nimble, or is it? 😁
@@RacingandAdventure oh no, please continue to say 'nimble', this is almost like a trademark already! 😁 Cheers, mate! Thank you for your videos, I always watch them all!
I believe the reason is that this slightly detuned model is A2-licence compliant... with the 900's you have to fit extra equipment to make them compliant.
No, you don’t HAVE to buy a quickshifter, just ride it like how our grandparents and their fathers rode it. Quickshifter takes away the fun of riding motorcycles
Well, yes, this bike is less powerful, but there are some stupid places like Norway, where the corrupt piliticians and a totally mentally unstable and corrupt members of the Green party - damand extreme reductiosn of the Co2 emitions - also from MOTORBIKES ! And so, the goverment has a "good" excuse to hit the owners with more taxes on slightly more powerful bikes, not to mention the insurrance price... Maybe that's why some will prefer this one - it is simply cheaper to buy / insure in some dumb-ass countries.... Pitty that Triumph has demoted this bike ALL the way.

huh.. wad?
@@morgan98801 that’s terribly sad. I was looking forward to watching more of his videos. What country is he from?
I think is the one of the best machine for this class . Thank you for review.
Just the new 1200 to come now (some time this year) for total world domination!
Looking forward
Great review, many thanks.

@@manojvijayasegar9827 I bought the Tiger in july
i booked mine on Jan 1st :)
Great review .. thanks you for pointing out all the things I would like to see on the bike as well!!
great review as always, I was disappointed that this long distance adventure touring bike(!) doesnt come with cruise control, not even as an extra option!
Yeah, it’s a shame. The same as the Tracer 9, as far as I remember. You have to buy the more expensive version for having a cruise control
Buy the GT and hey presto!
Solid review, great job as usual Christian 👍🏼✌️
Thanks
Hello! Vibrations can be reduced with some kind of absorbent material on the handle or some part of this? tks friend! good videos
Great video as always Christian!
Extreme engine heat is a normal thing for Triumph👎
I talk for personal bad experiences with the brand
RIP my friend
So do you like more this or the new tracer 9gt?

Hi there. What happend to drivemag riders?
nice video, nice bike. Just wish it didnt have a beak...its pretty much a road bike so a cleaner front end would be better IMHO...
Thanks bro i was thinking to buy it after seeing ur coment i will buy it...God willing
Tiger offers much better experience then Honda NC750x. Here in Turkey they almost same price. Please make a comparison video for Tiger 850. Good job.
nc vs tiger?
@@szeriman13 Why not? I know that is not equivalent, Cross runner maybe better but new NC is also not bad.

What do u think about KTM 890 Adv? İs it better choice?

Great review, how do you think it compares to the KTM 790 Adventure. Here in Ireland the KTM is €1250 cheaper.
The KTM is more fun to ride, less torque so have to rev it up more and go more often through the gearbox, but less comfortable for touring.

Excellent review!

I am scratching my head why they made an 850. The 900 is i believe a better bike. Do you think its just an update for those who like the 800.

@@RikkyTang I guess that makes sense. Thanx.
Wonderful
is the triumph 850 sport better than the bmw f850gs ?
Direct competitor is Gs 750
Yeah, as Mitja said, it’s different stuff. The 850GS features 21 inches front and long travel suspension

Good bike but no cruise control is a joke 😡
