      Thank you so much for your comment. It actually takes little time for new Anthurium & for older one does flowering a little earlier at March or April. Which species do you have?

    Hi.. I purchased anthurium Plant around 3 weeks ago.. Its leaves are turning yellow and smaller leaves are not growing in size nor any new leaf is coming.. Is its growth affected by winter season (of Delhi) ? Or do I need to do anything about it?

    • @GardenArcX
      @GardenArcX  2 роки тому +1

      Could be effect of winter as my Anthuriums older leaf turning yellow as well. Waiting to transfer to bigger pot after winter

    why is the soil too sandy it needs to be repotted to a different soil medium

    • @GardenArcX
      @GardenArcX  3 роки тому

      Thanks for reaching to us. It's a test that was successful & it also depends on weather. We were growing Anthurium in Sandy & compact mixtures as well. Both are good but in different condition, Sandy to be under more lights, Compact mix to be in shades area.

      @@GardenArcX sorry bro your test does not look successful from anhy angle u r making the poor plants as your playthings your toy and you are playing with their life and killing them... have some humanity and mercy... the soil is HORRIBLE and it is an understatement.

      @GardenArcX  Рік тому

      @@greengrower8122 it's hard to agree brother because this plant is much big now & healthy. Even I had a little plant out of it's root. I think its also depending on weather

    • @GardenArcX
      @GardenArcX  2 роки тому

      If the last leaf is getting yelloish then it's normal. If the middle age one turning yellowish then please check soil & root. Do not put it under direct sunlight,

    Are the stones there for some reason or just you put them there . Sorry for a long conversation but I have planted it first time so need some help . I got it after a long transit from Kerala to Bihar pot it in a well drained soil as I have seen in some other video . Initially it gone well but after approx ten days leave started drying . Someone tell me that it's in stress of climate change and I should let it settled without disturbing and keeping the soil moist. I thought the weather is getting dry so even I tried to maintain moisture by applying a steamer in the room . But still nothing is going well no sign of new leaf . One shaded all its leaves one has a single half dry and one have some dry leaves . Please help .

      Is there any hope of survival. What if I got some damage roots.

      Hello Ma'm
      I really appreciate your comment here. Let me share some points that might help you on Anthuriums.
      1. Stones I have used only for well drainage purpose but this soil has good drainage
      2. Dry / dying leaf - If Anthurium is in stress you can easily understand. Same thing happened to me as the leaf was drying so i thought the same. There has a video on this, where i showed the new leaf was growing so the old one is dried.
      3. They love water & Indirect sunlight !
