I was loving the fence until you stained it. I would've gone with a clear coat.
Y'all... I don't get it. Why drill from the blind side? You'd have a seamless look if you drilled on the postmaster side with the holes into the wood, then cover with a 1x6 and all screws no longer visible. I just don't understand a reason to make install a little trickier???

What's the advantage of self tapping screws instead of just screwing the wood to the back?
I'm guessing in the case they miss the pre-drilled holes and just hit the metal (since they were drilling from the blind side).
@@mrkamerer I guess so. It doesn't make sense to me why they wouldn't just drill from the other side.
