As a kid my mother had a special metal egg poaching insert for one of her pots. It held 4 eggs in individual cups. Put water into the pot to a particular fill line. Put in insert. Heat water. Put eggs into insert cups. Lid on. Cook for proper time.
i love these videos. my fam never taught me any of these things and seeing that its not common knowledge makes me feel better about just learning it now at age 22. its also amusing to be able to guess/know the correct way compared to someone in their 30/40s
