That's true Stephen, I have gone through their vids trying to find what length they are measuring to......but they never say. Your measurement is the PDC standard but different areas play different lengths. 7'6...7'9...8'0...and even 8'6. They need to explain that so people are not confused and also say what is the length you measured and not just "that was spot on".
We don't even use that setup for matches that is just for the public to mess around with, the pdc players that use the actual setup are always happy with it

How could the o he length be bang on if the vertical board height is incorrect thats because if you hold the same length of tape from the top of the wall and the bottom of the floor the one on the floor tape goes longer
I am watchiing this series in no particular order, just as they come on my feed and while I enjoy the heck out of it, the inconsistency in scoring is worse than Peter Wright at the minute
Only 1 board and 1 oche in the room we featured and sadly it didn't fit, we treat every location the same as anyone else would who just walked in for a game.

On the lighting…those are not the best lights. The ring is very distracting. The highest score I’d give for that type of light is 8. I have a ONE80 Illumina and it is shadowless and out of the way. You don’t even see it.
Thinking what a guy off the street would've walked into this day. No lighting, no oche and (potentially) board measurements being off. Clearly has the potential, but on the day, I think 60 ends up pretty fair

You should go to the York Hotel in Morecambe, holds quite a few events in there.
On the board measurements…if the height is low, but the diagonal is spot on, it means the length is long - longer than 7’9- 1/4 inches.
