what a great shop. if i popped in to buy some stuff would i get the same help as the chap in the video? i used to play back in the jocky wilson john lowe days but havn't thrown a dart since around the mid 80s. i stopped because i was terrible but a little bit of help in which darts suit me and how to stand makes me want to take it up again.

Wish there was a place like that here in the states. Do have dart shop in the area but, the owner was rude af with me. Like to grip the dart towards the back and he was like that was wrong i should grip it at the front. Didn't like the way i stood at the oche either, said that was wrong too. Now he was right about my throwing motion, that was garbage, and he helped with that. Just after all the videos i've seen of people doing it all different ways felt he was being arrogant like his way was "the right way" and i was wrong because i was doing it different. Saw a lot of bad reviews online for his place and now i know why. He could help without being an ass.
TheQwaz That’s not good for his business or him as a person, if he carries on like that people like yourself will stop going, Darts shops are so expensive over their, feel sorry for you guys, at some point someone will do one that is nice and get it right with the right price point.
Darts Planet TV Another reason i just thought of as far as wishing there was a shop like that here is for my brother in law. Would like to get him some proper tungsten darts. He throws completely different than me plus, he's left handed and i doubt he'd use the same weight i do. Think he could get pretty good, just needs a decent set of darts.
Great video i often visit a180 and the stems and flight were myne that i left so it was funny to see them being used

Perhaps I failed to hear your explanation on the video, but could you tell me what exactly you found as the reason for his first set of darts landing at an upward angle?
