  • The King's Birthday Parade took place at a warm Casemates Square on Thursday morning.
The Commander British Forces Gibraltar, Commodore Tom Guy, says that for Gibraltar there can be no greater visible demonstration of UK Sovereignty than having the Forces amongst the People of Gibraltar showing respect and celebrating the King’s Birthday with them.
At this first King's Birthday Parade under the reign of King Charles III, the Governor, Sir David Steel, the Sovereign's representative in Gibraltar, took the Royal Salute. He later stepped off the dais to represent the national Royal presence.
The Trooping of the Colour takes place at Buckingham Palace this coming Saturday.

I'm from the UK but I've lived in southern Spain for 2 years. I've visited Gibraltar easily more than a hundred times by now and it's my favourite place locally. It's a nice little slice of home away from home
God Save The King! God Save Gibraltar! 🇬🇧🇬🇮
