I’ll probably stick to the glycerin. The cloud monster (and MoreV3 from NB) were way too soft for my liking. Awesome vid as always! (Edited because I have sausage fingers and can’t type!)
NB MoreV3 was a bit too heavy and WAAAAYYY TOO HOT for me. It was like running in a sauna, even though I loved the cushiony comfort. So, I sent them back and my 1080 V12 arrive tomorrow (hoping they give me all the good and none of the bad noted above).
@@cefrayer AGREE the More V3 is bloody hot!!!! I figured it will be great come winter though! Could I ask you, how do you like the 1080V12? They've been getting awesome reviews.
@@bev9708 Once I got the right size-8.5 vs the 9 I usually wear-it’s been GREAT! It’s the first running shoe that I haven’t had to wear a Superfeet insole with to prevent ankle, knee, and hip pain (I’m bow-legged). It’s not officially a stability shoe, so I’m not sure how it’s doing that, unless it’s the unique way the heel flares up and out a bit. It’s not as soft as the MOREV3 (is anything?) but still a VERY SOFT ride with NONE of the heat or heaviness. I set out to run my first treadmill 10k with it a couple of days ago, but I started getting some left Achilles pain so I quit after 40 minutes just to be safe (caused by yard work, not the shoe). I’ve run a couple of 5Ks outside in typical central Florida summer mid-90s with heat index ~100-102, plus some 100-200 meter sprint sessions, and it’s been great on everything so far. Keep in mind that I’m 61yo, so it’s not as though I’m pushing it to its limits. Nonetheless, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! 👍👍 Taking a few days off running now to get back to my Tonal strength training (even more highly recommended). 💪

I’m almost your age myself and I do 400-425km per month so yeah always looking to take care of the joints. The Clifton is definitely my favorite ever so far, and was disappointed with the 1080v11, but you reassure me to give the 1080v12 a go!
The More V3 fits so much bigger in the front, I'm surprised you like it since the Glycerin fits much more snug. To me the Glycerin fits much better, doesn't feel like a boat up front.
Glycerine 20 I have been using the aurora and love how it feels when you run. Waiting anxiously for brooks to start selling then here in the states
Great video. FYI - you have your weights reversed. You listed the Glycerin 20 at 298 G/9.8 oz. and the Cloud Monster at 278 G/10.5 oz.
Wow. Brooks actually has the more interesting colour scheme in this comparison, too, which is virtually unheard of.

I run with the Cloud Monster and the New Balance More V3 so this report is quite interesting to me.
