I just can't agree with this review, I have had my pair for 2 days now, had 2 runs in them. It just isn't living up to the description or the photos of your website. I feel the bigger the size the less the rocking shape is present, I am a UK 12.5. My feet feel dead on the soles after just being in them for 45 minutes, even with more cushioned insoles. Sadly I can't go in to a running store and try on pairs of footwear as stores just don't stock sizes above UK 11. I can't try them on any indoor equipment as I don't have access to any treadmills. I'm just really disappointed in the customer service, support, and truth of the descriptions and pictures. The photos on the @On-Running website show a more cushioned sole, and my size UK12.5 just don't look as cushioned as the pair in the website photos. Just overall really disappointed with these running trainers.
Dezoined, that's definitely a new word to be added to the Oxford English Dictionary. As for your revues, I do really appreciate your input on all things running. Keep up the excellent work you do...
Great review! I just picked these up myself when I went to the store to try on some max cushion shoes. I felt it made the others I was trying feel boring! It was quite a surprise. The only ON shoes I’ve had are the Cloud, which I mostly use for travel and as a comfortable casual shoe. I’m glad to see my reaction wasn’t singular.
Rookie runner here, bought a pair of Nikes and I didn’t like them I felt like I slapping the ground..2 weeks of researching and headaches, I bow down to you! Thank you for a great review especially to a newbie going to purchase a pair now 🙌
very nice review... I was thinking about buying this tennis shoes. All my questions were answered in this video... I'll definitely going to give this shoe a try... thanks Ben ;)
Another great video. Love your content and editing. Will steal some ideas for my channel. Love you wear the same hat and match your hoodie with the outfit you wore during the try run in London ! Keep up the good work
This was a good investment!!! The shoe does what it suppose to do!! I ran faster and longer without fatigue. I was able to run up this steep hill far more easier on my monster on clouds versus my basic on clouds. The shoe has energy return throughout the entire sole. It’s pretty cool. I was very excited about it. My heart rate wasn’t so high either! I get great. No back pain. I will be buying a new pot once I wear these out. I’ll be back to two you how durable they are. I love my shoes! And they’re pretty stylish as well. They costed me $170
Great review...I have the Cloudflyer and Cloudflow (been through a few pairs of each) and this one is piquing my interest. Might have to head to a shop to try them on.
Hey Ben, thanks a lot for doing such a great review . Really helped me make a decision on my next purchase . I have 3 pairs of Clouds for casual wear and they are great. I have been using Adidas Ultra boosts for sometime now on road runs but i want to change to on running shoes and there are so many to choose from its a difficult to make a decision. Slight niggle on the right knee and therefore cushioning is important . So following your review i am looking forward to ordering a pair of monsters . cheers
Side note: On-Running is SUSTAINABLY MADE (unlike other big brands such as nike, adidas..... ) 'it can be recycled over and over again......' Thank you for the great Video.
Just a food for thought ... A man from Australia who said that he has been running for 5 years on avg 110km per week He said that u need to be consistently running for at least 10 years to see majority of your potential out ... My experience with that is that I'm running fairly consistent for 18 months to move from 1hr in 10k to 52:10 U don't cut time overnight .. u need to be patient what I learnt from him
Great review Ben! Just wondering how you compare this to the Nike Invincible? Seems like these shoes cover the same use cases (easy, long run shoe that's fun and super responsive) 👍🏽
Ooo.. looking forward to this announcement. Genuinely annoying about pace length! I found that on my Invincibles - tried out some electric laces because they needed replacing anyway. Have you ever tried?
Based on your review of this shoe, I purchased a pair of Cloudmonsters last week. Bottom line: I'm sending them back... They don't allow me to run slow enough!
what's the little red / orange tag on the back? is it weird that i prefer the shoe WITH that tag, i cant see it on the sports direct link lol.. so minor haha but i love that little splash of red
Hello, Ben. What about the stability? Is that good ? I've bought the Invincible run and I'm a bit disappointed... On long runs, I feel lot of pain in my ankle...
On shoes are great if you want to bring home stones you run over and dog poop you cant flick out of the tubes. Very comfy but not great for anywhere other than treadmill smooth places.
My usual morning runs are around 5'30/km pace, while my avg cadence is at 189spm...is there something wrong which I'm not aware of? If I would like to achieve 4'45/km, doesnt that increase my cadence to 200spm+++ which is kinda high ? Kinda need help here ,thanks Currently 6 months into running
Just a thought, maybe don't spoil your review in the thumbnail and first 5 seconds of the video if you want people to watch to the end (which I do)! Cheers from the States, and on that note, maybe convert grams to ounces for shoe weights?
Thank you for your review, Ben! Keep enjoying the Cloudmonsters! 🙌

Thanks Jairo 🙌🏻
Dude ngl, your the most reliable shoe reviewer i’ve watched. i think the only other comparable person is Kofuzi.

I think these will be the ones I'll buy after my knee surgery. It will be my 3rd On Running shoe. Thanks for the review!
Thanks Ben. Great review and really intrigued by these!
Adding these to my buy list - thank you, Ben!
I am really enjoying these..as you say: fun and playful. Plus, I like saying "Cloudmonster"
Great chatting to you about the shoe yesterday and sweden. The shoe is by far the best On shoe.
Great review!! Looks like a great shoe!! Thank you for sharing!!
No problem Andrew, thanks for watching
@@BenIsRunning you’re welcome!!

Are they the Rodger ones?

Hello I know it’s been a year since you posted this but did you end up getting these ?
Really looking forward to your next vlog, 😊

Yes this is basically the on equivalent but I’d say the ride is a little more responsive than the softer invincible
@@BenIsRunning Thanks mate - Appreciate the quick response 💪🏽
I have this pair but haven't truly used them b/c I'm still rehabbing from knee surgery but really looking forward to really putting miles on it!
On the lookout for an easy day shoe or more cushioned one. Could be on the list
Yeah this ticks both those boxes

Yeah can’t wait to share!! I can’t say I have ⚡️
Based on your review of this shoe, I purchased a pair of Cloudmonsters last week. Bottom line: I'm sending them back... They don't allow me to run slow enough!
Top review. Do you prefer these to the Nike Invincible for easy runs?👀
I wasn’t a fan of the invincibles personally so these are more my cup of tea
First aww yess. Let's watch
🥇
what's the little red / orange tag on the back? is it weird that i prefer the shoe WITH that tag, i cant see it on the sports direct link lol.. so minor haha but i love that little splash of red
It’s the Swiss flag! Interesting spot
Just received mine today, will be interesting to see how I get on. Not run in over a decade and suffer with my knees.
Hey Mark, any update after getting your shoes. I have flat feet and a bad knees as well.
Hey Ben .. would you say it’s true to size ? I’m usually 41 / 8 us .. the ASICS fits me a half size down ..
Hi Ben Sizing , are you in your normal size or have you gone half size or full size up ??
Hey Ben,
Thank you for the review. Do you think I can use it as an everyday shoes?
in the video (if you watch it) he says yes
Is it bouncier and lighter on foot than the Nike Invincible? Which would you prefer?
I have some of these and I haven't really heard that much 'buzz' around these shoes and I thought they deserved.
Looks better without the decal?
Hi.. could you please help compare this with the Hoka Bondi X?
Any update on the condition of these lately? Thanks!
Hello, Ben.
What about the stability? Is that good ? I've bought the Invincible run and I'm a bit disappointed... On long runs, I feel lot of pain in my ankle...
Stability is one of the plus sides to this shoe! Especially for a maximal cushioned daily you shouldn’t have an issue
@@BenIsRunning thank you very much!
How's the midsole holding up? looks like it won't hold up to high milage
On shoes are great if you want to bring home stones you run over and dog poop you cant flick out of the tubes. Very comfy but not great for anywhere other than treadmill smooth places.
You sound like a guy that has a stone collection 😂
@@BenIsRunning 🤣you could say that

A higher cadence doesn’t necessarily make you faster if say your stride length shortens :) you pace will increase gradually as your fitness improves
@@BenIsRunning thanks Ben
Ben what is the easy run pace that you talk about?
Can you run a 56KM marathon race
Bonjour peuvent elles convenir pour un marathon en 4h30 - homme de 73 kg ?
Bonjour. Elles sont confortable s’il vous plaît ? Merci
Oui
Oui oui trés confortable
@@BenIsRunning merci beaucoup 😊
How about the fit. Particularly the toe box width?
How does this shoe compare to the adidas ultra boost?
Ooo cliffhanger at the end, can’t wait.
Not many people make it to the end of the video so here’s an extra nugget just for you🇺🇸
@@BenIsRunning close… 🇦🇺
I have a narrow foot. The stratus was way way too wide on me. How’s the fit of this one?
Ima get these!!😁
How is the arch support?
still waiting, tension ramping up, 😅
Second. Hi Ben how are you doing?
🥈 and good thanks! How are you?!
How's the durability?
Other than the decals on the upper peeling off it seems good
New subs here
LIKE 👌
So not good for walking
