@@micky_knuckles I can assure you they don’t. You are just around people that are similar to yourself (which is common). The same way I cant resonate with what you’re saying because myself and the women around me are super confident - especially about their looks. Much more than men are.

I agree Sierra. Why do people care so much about people's weight. It's sickening honestly.
And when you’re short it’s really hard to stay skinny. It’s basically like you’re on a diet all the time. You have to skip a meal if you want to eat two good meals , not like what Megan eats… like macaroni, fried chicken, a steak, etc. In first world countries our food is very calorie dense and we grew up on it so eating kale salads is a challenge lol
@@Blake1720 Americans were taught to eat too much and not exercise. And the food choices are heavy without nutrients. That's why it's hard to stay slim. Most are not eating real food. Mac and cheese isn't real food.

For berries, you can blend a large amount, strain the seeds, and freeze in silicone trays to use as needed.
And, if you hate leafy greens, having them in a smoothie is a great option. All you taste is the fruit.
If they were frozen before blending, then it's best not to re-freeze them.
But if they aren't cooked they give me gas ⛽😞
Chewing your smoothie is actually way better for your digestion because it releases enzymes you need for it to be more easily broken down, giving your cells the necessary nutrients! Agreed that it's better as a snack, because our bodies naturally respond to meals/drinks that are hot when we first wake up and break our fast to start our digestion process. I used to drink a smoothie everyday for lunch. I lost 57 lbs. I also stopped eating crap and drinking soda. Now I can only drink it with a meal or terrible hunger comes in 30 mins after I drink it. I still do though. Healthy ones and she is supposed to chew the smoothie instead of just swallowing it down. That's how a lot of people consume too many calories, by drinking them.
But my smoothie was already chewed. By the blender.

Also adding vanilla extract to your smoothie is a game changer! Also other great add ins are honey, sun seed butter, and coco powder with the bananas

Edit: you can strain the seeds out for the smoothie next time. Also the kale salad I would try a different recipe. The Chick-fil-A kale salad is good. I recommend. And definitely sautéed kale with onions and red peppers is amazing. Recommend ❤

I also like to add a little sprinkle or jello or jello pudding powder! Then stick back in the fridge for a little! You really get a great taste with protein powder and the consistency is much thicker!!! ❤
Kale in smoothies is honestly pretty good, it's comparable to spinach in smoothies. Add a little sweetener and it'd be great!

You should try lentil soup with kale. It’s way less tangy once in a soup ☺️
Next time you make a smoothie ditch the ice cubes and just use frozen fruit. Way better than watering everything down. If ur trying this method and needing more liquid- a splash of juice/OJ in the barrel works great. So does adding a bit of yogurt

I love kale salad! I do some things differently though: 1. I wash the kale 3-4 times with salt and warm to hot water (to slightly blanch it), 2. I dry it and put it in a bowl with my toppings which are dried cranberries, shallots (thinly sliced or mandolined), and a dollop of hummus, 3. Then I place fresh out of the air fryer sweet potatoes (cubed) on top to turn it into a warm salad and to further cook the kale a little 4. Finally I drizzle a garlic vinaigrette (I use Garlic Expressions) or a dressing of your choice! It's delish! 😍 (Though I absolutely love sautéed kale as well)!
I admire you for being so determined to eat healthy. I had a Dr. Tell me at the first of the year you have PCOS you’re never going to loose weight😢. So discouraging
Dont let them discourage you. Focus on eating healthier, replacing any junk with healthier options!
You will see results! Even if you dont lose weight quickly, your health will be better!!!
I read that it makes it harder, but if you want to keep fit for your health why not look for a dietician and some sport you like? Have the two docs work together to make a nutritional plan for you. Intersectionalism should be applied to medical stuff more often.

The reason we gain weight due to PCOS is insulin resistance. There is no cure for IR, but there are various medications including metformin and the GLP-1 agonists. And no, GLP-1 agonists are not just appetite suppressants like the media promotes. They effectively treat IR which is why they are great for diabetics and PCOS.
Women with PCOS also need to eat a balanced wholefoods diet and exercise regularly.

Carbs are best to eat for breakfast and lunch as it gives us energy. Dinner should consist of protein and vegetables followed by yogurt to help our food digest while we sleep. I’d also like to add that veggies and fruit are carbs!! Not that that should deter you from eating them- I just heard you say the only carb was the crotons in the salad. Romaine and zucchini do have carbs, but the good kind!

Take the kale drizzle with olive oil and sea salt bake it in the oven. It crunchy kale chips pretty good. Kale is so bitter I can’t do it raw with just kale
