I've owned a 2007 Cooper S, a 2011 JCW Hatch, a 2012 JCW Convertible and now I've ordered a Clubman JCW.
The specs just sound so nice, I need it - just for fun.
TheBS80 I am a big fan of the Clubman JCW, too.
The jcw mini Hard top is good for me
I hate the particulate filter on my mini cooper s. Completely removed the loud pops and bangs. The older version sounds so much better.
I wan't to choose the normal JCW. 231hp are okay! I mean you can't drive faster in Germany and the "normal" JCW is very fast.
I wouldn't say very fast. But it's not slow by any means, I'd still take a r53 mini over this everyday! supercharger ftw

Ok, this one has 5500km, I guess we just need to give those Minis a proper run in time. This Convertible actually has decent crackles, a lot more than fresh out of the factory JCWs.

Great review, Max. But if the front wheels are having trouble finding traction with 231 bhp, I am just wondering what its going to be like with over 300 bhp. That might get rather amusing ....

@@Pookieadolf there are 3 JCW models with the new 302 bhp engine, Mini Cooper JCW, Clubman JCW & Countryman JCW.

@@Pookieadolf the article in Autocar that I read called this model JCW. Maybe that's in the UK only?
@@AaronRandolphChen there are currently only 2 models with the new 306hp motor: the clubman jcw and the countryman jcw. Both have awd and like 4.9s to 100km/h (60mph).
Later next year there will be a new gp model of the cooper with the same engine but limited to 3000 models

@@JadedsoFaded I generally like it. I think that back end looks better than the F56s. Today I heard they dropped the manual transmission so I would not buy it.
