Also ngl this made me sub just for the amount of detail you've put into explaining the key functions. Other tutorials seem to take ages and brush over them nonchalantly like it's not the reason people are here watching the tutorial 😂
Well details are important as everyone watching has a difference in understanding. Plenty more tutorials to come and everything will be explained fully. Thanks for dropping a comment :)
Lots of people want to know how to do this. I will get to it. I just have to run the series in reasonable order so everything is covered and new viewer can find the videos in the future as a full series.
Would love for you to check out one of my POI’s. Trickiest part was getting the driveways matched to fit the town in RWG. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
We shall get to that part eventually. Hopefully I can cover it all and then if needed take everyone's questions at the end and make a final video covering anything missed. Plenty more to come though :)
Thank you for doing these videos. Can't wait for the next one... the 3rd one. Can you tell me how to put the part on a poi I built that tells the game to connect a road to it when it places it in a new RWG map? Please and Thank you.
If you watch the full episode 2 video ua-cam.com/video/68P5yJBOcSE/v-deo.html then that is what I talking about in the last section of this video. More to come in episode 3.
I still consider myself a bit of newbie compared with others only having 3.5k hours in 7 days (only had the game since very late A19) and doing a little xml editing, but i never messed about with this side of 7 days. Ive been in the prefab editor but always been a little scared of it :) I will mess about with this at some point but going to watch your vids and make a note of the key commands as i would love to make a prefab horde/home base and have it in a future play through. I see Jawoodle mess about when making his woodle park stuff and i always wanted to know how to use the editor. Thanks for your vids and your mods!
Well it is nice to have the King of the Llamas on board. Once we get through this series you will be popping out prefabs with ease. I have lined up a series about the world editor and using the Teragon map creation software. So there is plenty to look forward to.
And this is why I build everything above ground level and then lower it down just before exporting it. The big question for me is, "how do I make myself want to build again?" 🤷♂
I think having this on a console might break the system. Custom stuff for download in some form may happen in the future though. We shall have to wait and see.
Jumping ahead in the process... Familiar with mods, but trying to build a RWG map and want it to include Fluffy-Panda-POI-Pack & Voltralux's POI Pack 1.0. are the packs put in the Mods folder, or does the pack go in another spot to populate in the new RWG map??? Thanks in advance!!
I have just gone to NexusMods to have a look and both of these downloads say clearly in the description how to install them. Place them in the Mods folder.
Will you cover how to make a mod to add it to rwg? I mean if I make my standard horde base I'd like to randomly come across it in the wilderness, instead of placing it in a map.
There is no need to make a mod. As part of the series I will explain how you set the places were your prefab can spawn. I think I mentioned this briefly in the video. So if you make yourself a horde base and wish it to randomly spawn in the wilderness like any other wilderness POI then that is what you will be able to do.
Hello, I have a curious question when it comes to the editor tool. Is it possible to make a prefab that can replace an entire map with a structure going from build height to bedrock? It's a crazy question I know, but so far I have no answers with all the searching I've done.
So ummm... What does it mean when i click the Level/Prefab Editor and it goes through the initializing world, up to creating character, then the command console opens and starts counting through "EXC NullReferenceExeption: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"? It's just going up through numbers and I've sat and waited but it just keeps going
Thanks for this. I have 6k hours in the game and have little idea how this works. Look forward to the next one. Time to do my homework!
Yes! A comment like this will get you extra credit for your homework.
Awesome. Looking forward to the next episode.
Thanks Gray. Not sure how many episodes it will take. Plenty more to do and learn :)
I'm so happy I found this series, I was previously using a series that was over 1 year old and for ver 20 😅

Excited for the rest of the Series already
I hope by the end we have a series that is long lasting and useful to many. I will eventually get round to the part you are specifically looking for.
@@Phys1csGamez I already did learn something from this one Video so im happy to see the rest of it :)
Very excited about this. Especially hope you cover adding the road connections stuff and all quest and poi properties.

Looking forward to this series my friend ❤
Glad you are here to enjoy the series :)
Definitely knowledge I need! Thanks Phys1cs!
Should be a nice series. We can get the world making awesome POIs.
I am excited to see what's next!
Probably more random crashes. Yet in the end we shall have our prefab Masters degree certificate.
@@Phys1csGamez Also exciting! 😊
A new Phys1cs Video lets gooooo 🎉🎉
You will become my new top commenter at this rate ;)
@@Phys1csGamez hey have to feed the algorithm lol 😎☝️
KatsPurr here. Great to see someone doing an updated version of a prefab editor tutorial!
Thanks KaysPurr. Yes I keep getting questions so a full details start to finish series is needed :)
great idea, looking forward to this series
Hopefully useful for lots of people. Thanks for watching Will have fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun
Awesome vid. Cant wait for the next one. I kept building in vanilla cause i would always have a fight with the editor. This helps a lot
Glad you enjoyed! Yes more very soon. We shall become experts!

Awww come on Nem. You're one of the Lab Rats. You can build anything. Help me make giant things for the PvP maps!!
Wish this was available to do on console 😢

@@Phys1csGamez yeah definitely!! Wishful thinking at best lol!! I'm hoping for mods someday though!!
I just wanna know where I can get more picture of that thumbnail.
