Enjoy your videos. You manage to avoid the things other hiking videos do that annoy me. You dont jabber the whole way , i dont need a history of your hikes and how.this compares. You describe the route as you go pointing out where your going AND on the return trip the route down, this makes for a great trail guide. You dont keep the camrta pointed at the ground but you do point out key features of the trail. Besides that you do great shots of what your seeing as round you. Ive made two attempts on this trail and this vedio gives great coverage. If your going give this a watch a few times and you'll have a good idea what to expect.(i didnt make it, ran out of water, about 1000 feet from the top go t socked in couldnt see ten feet. It was my 60th birthday still a great time)
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback. Glad you were safe, and had some fun! Enjoy it’s not going anywhere. Can always reattempt main good on ya for getting out there.
Is the north and northeast route the same trail or does each route go all the way to the summit? Does the northeast ridge trail split off from the north trail? I am a little confused from some of these videos, it's not clear to me. Thank you!
Sometimes for me the best way to figure is to check out a good map. Check this map out hopefully it can help clarify. www.14ers.com/route.php?route=elbe1 This map shows all the different routes that head up to Elbert.
