AWB looks good... In some situations it’s the best choice but another great video/demo. Sorry to hear about your eye color perception issue. 🙏
You always come clutch with great tutorials
Glad you like them!
I love this stuff. lol.
Your consideration is appreciated. thnx' Justin*
My pleasure!
Could you pleeeeeeaaaaassse do a video on how you use the Sekonic C800 to match lights or just a workflow using it
Sure!! Thanks for the input!
nice shirt love that team.
Me too!
Hi bro.... thanks for this video... very informative... i purchased this item and been using it for quite sometime... by the way , i am just an amateur still photographer.... can u help me what the value for "WB Seep" (in Setting)...? i currently using Canon EOS R6.... Thanks in advance....
i meant "WB Step"
Might be a bracket function
Noob question: i normally use an Xrite Classic Video color checker with the A7S3. If i expose to what is usually recommended as correct (+1.3/ +1.7) in clog3.cine with the zebras at 41% on mid grey im pretty happy with WB and color accuracy i get in Davinci Resolve doing the manual color correction on the vectorscope moving the hue vs hue and hue vs sat points. Will the spectrometer improve my exposure accuracy over my current workflow or should i just stick to my old method? Spending 600€ on a spectrometer is not exactly cheap but could be worth it in the long run if it allows for more accuracy.
it's really most useful when needing to match a lot of different sources, or just wanting to quickly match to a current WB.
I've got a long way to go still it seems.. hmm, thx for sharing :-)
How to match the unit in WB corrector and the camera?
I don't think 0.5 unit in c800 = 0.5 unit in Sony = 0.5 unit in Canon camera.
I see what you mean. I still match to what the actual light is, and if you combine that with a color chart, in post you can get a perfectly neutral color balance. I recently did a video on this: ua-cam.com/video/8yNjTPSqLJY/v-deo.htmlsi=Ud-2CUdocWYqB6BN
