Here is what I said on his comment section : "So you review a light at only 7% - in studio - so that nobody knows about the fan noise at 100% - not taking the time ? Some UA-camrs say they don’t have time for such stuff but want to make an honest review anyways - while expecting us to click on their affiliate links…Amazing"
I found the 650B a little too heavy for my tastes. And having a case without wheels was kind of a deal breaker. That said, GVM is leaning more towards professionals while Zhiyun is more content creator based. I would actually compare the Zhiyun lite to the new Nanlite FC - 500, which has more features (including DMX control) and a better build quality.
Please buy a sound meter for fan tests and measure it from 1m. If you can afford Sekonic spectrometer you can afford sound meter like Extech SL250W ($99). You sound fan comparisons will become as scientific as your color and power readings :D Test with any mic does not make sense, because I do not know your mic levels, your camera levels and what you have done in post with that sound. Anyway the best review of B500 I've seen so far. I guess I'd stay with Aputure :D. Their new 600C seems to be as powerful as this one, and have G/M shift control - but is like 4x more expensive :D
You mean Zhiyun Molus 500W more powerful / brighter than GVM Pro SD650B ? I was considering to get few SD650B over Aputure 600 but this one ahead of both of them That's insane !
