Nick is a genuine friend you can sit down with and feel like you are being talked WITH ....as opposed to "Talked to" or "Talked AT" and well ...Meris...what else can I say...words like "forward thinking" and "Innovative" come to mind. Nick Reinhart demo-ing the latest Meris creation....shear genius...and a pleasure.... I can only hope to see Nick doing more gear demos because he always approaches them from the perspective of an ARTIST...and that's what these are....... tools for an artist to bring to fruition....a VISION
This was great! If you like this there are a few things you will probably enjoy. See below. There is a tone mob interview (actually 2-3) that goes through everything from MERIS founding and where the founders come from to the development/launch of this pedal. On the earthquaker channel there is a long long podcast/ call thingy where Nick and Jamie sits around and just talk about pedals, music and life. Enjoy and stay safe everyone
Could I sell my Earthquaker Devices Avalanche Run, Boss SL-2 Slicer and Maris Enzo and replace it with this and be happy? I'm a solo player and use a looper to shoegaze. Also, silly question but can this act as an octaver to play bass lines one my guitar? And cool percussive fx? Basically what I'm asking, can I just use the LVX, a looper and overdrive pedal?
that exp pedal warp thing that you dont know how to use is used when you make a mistake, its like rewind thing also if you want to start over a track :D
It’s wild that the only other pedal I’ve used with that “scrubbing” feature, is my Korg AX1G. A plastic piece of shit from way back that I still keep around for all the quirky weird shit it can do lol
Thanks for this Nick ! The LVX can be quite intimidating but your approach is certainly the most useful one. I love the looper but I wish it were quantized and that it had the possibility of inserting overdubs here and there, replacing parts of the original loop.
See, the problem is, the LVX doesn't include all the functions of the separate Meris pedals, which I already have. Where, the new Eventide H90 does include all the functions of the Eventide pedal line

Nick is my favorite human being
I hope Juan is doing ok
Your right about that this pedal is like "Choose your own adventure"!
i was hoping nick would get his hands on one! thanks nick!
That was brilliant, what an adventure.
The pitch shifted portion in E just gave me flashbacks to Nickelodeon cartoons. Doug and Rugrats in a box! 😂
I’m here for the PUG! ❤
Always great deep dives and content from Nick!
Lmn no l
Scrubbing is probably very cool on shorter ambient loops.

Imagine the Enzo in this format 😯
Gosh, I would love a tour of all of the gear in that room 😍
thanks Nick!
Perfect pairing of artist and effect pedal, been looking forward to seeing the LVX out in the world.

Can you share it in Patchstorage?

This is friggin great
its a "texture pedal " that uses a bunch of effects . basically

@Keith Porden that’s a pretty big problem if you ask me. I think the developers should release a new revision
@Keith Porden a gap in their product line thats for sure
