Hi! Great video 👍 it's amazing how different the same colors turn out with that magical undertone color. I hadn't been that interested in blending and shading, etc.. until recently so I find this all so fascinating 😀 I am a homebody so the lockdown hasn't bothered me in that aspect, however, I have been drilling the "respect" factor into a few young people who I believe are more scared than anything. Fear in young people can cause a rebellious behavior and or attitude thus making them look like they don't care. So talking to people and helping them understand and accept their fears helps them to face and hopefully overcome them. We have always kept some Staples stocked. Like a couple weeks worth. I now have a few new items to add to the list, lol. Bless you 🙏 stay safe and well.

Thank you for showing Mina. I was beginning to have DTs from not seeing my scale kids. I still miss Puff but I remembered after someone reminded me that he's with your daughter. Thanx also for the recipies. I was shocked at the difference between the yellow and red undertone. I can't think of anything special I did so guess I'm SOL on your question lol
Haven’t really done anything different here, so no real story. I grew up with my Mum canning and such....while I don’t can, we almost always have 2-4 weeks worth of supplies on hand. Only got caught “short” on a few things, so there wasn’t any panic buying here....that was crazy to watch.
I am disabled so I live my life in lovkdown every single day, i also am a prepper, so, when this pandemic hit. We didn't have to change anything craziest thing i have done is bring 2 yes 2 young puppies into my home...one 7 weeks old and one 12 weeks... potty training x's 2 oh the joys!!!
That is wonderful! Puppies are so much fun and their filled with love and joy, after the house training is done!

My life has not truly changed. As I am disabled & without any transportation, I depend on the Monday bus, taxis, & my daughter to do shopping. Between my freezer & pantry (which has more food than necessary for 1 person), I needed to go shopping for cat food, bread, fresh veggies, fruits, & medications. I could probably gotten by for 3 weeks, if not for my Mercy cat & meds. I hate canned veggies, prefer frozen, but there is not enough room in the freezer. This is the way I have lived for 15 years.
I do not buy from Amazon.com like I used to, I have only purchased Kerby's latest book since the last of January. I am a voracious reader & have been buying some books to read. A few have been so good & long that I haven't colored as much, although I'm coloring more than I did for my long depression of the past year & 7 months. I've done nothing exciting, I haven't even watched Netflix, Britbox, (both of which I pay for!), or a season of shows based on one of my favorite books that I purchased last Halloween! I listen to classical & oldies music whenever I can (helps with depression) & I spend too much time on UA-cam! I've done nothing crazy although I am. I've done nothing extraordinary because I'm not.
Ok! So I'm sitting patiently wait! 😄 😄. Like I can go anywhere! 😂 😂 😂! I'll be playing around with the colors to see if I do right! I can hear myself now, damn it Tammy, layers, slowly, Lmfao 😂 😂. I really have a bad habit of doing it really fast to see the outcome. Always bad! 😂 😂. Ok, until tomorrow! 😊 😉 💖!

It is always wise to keep survival food .. flash light and a generator and power packs... the solar ones are the best ... and i would seggust to buy more than one ...
My family is high on security and such and so we had some emergency food already. Nothing that we've had to break into but glad it's there, just in case. We always have a few cases of water, extra canned beans and stuff, rice, buckets of rations, etc. stored in the basement. Even stuff like dish soap, tons of seeds for planting, and yes, even toilet paper. Lol So we didn't need to do any panic buying. We just buy we normally would and that is there in case this goes downhill or something else does in the future. If not, we will use it and replace it. We feel better and more secure having that there for emergencies.
Also, my life hasn't changed a whole lot, really. I don't leave my house often anyway. I have fibromyalgia and that keeps me in a lot. My son does school online already so it's no different.
My parents are both disabled and also don't leave very much anymore and they always have a ton of dry goods and canned goods so they joked that they've been practicing for this for a few years. 😄
After listening to you it made me understand why my parents always had that supply cupboard with extra canned foods and non perishables. (My parents were born in the 30's.)
Holy crap! Thank you finally! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH So excited!!!!! I've been wanting to learn how to blend. I even bought a book because it talked about blending skin and it only did Caucasian skin. T.T Sadface! And all the tutorials I find online are for digital art and are typically not really well presented on blending they just have the digital art still tutorial pages with use these colors. What do you think of using Clay Rose as an undertone for dark skin?
I normally don't use clay rose first. It's a pretty weird color. One of my favorite but I would set the tone that dark. I use clay rose in the shadow areas.
Hi Lori! I've been watching you for a long time and I'm really glad I found you! I've learned a lot. My story is like many of the others. I have a disability too - RA. I'm very blessed though. My daughter and son-in-law moved to Indiana to be with me because "Mom can't live alone anymore." They moved from Colorado. That will be what I remember most about the lockdown. I'm not going out unless I have to go to the doctor which is being done over the phone as much as possible, and no one is aloud in. I'm ok with it though. I would rather be home and not take a chance and it gives me more time to color. I had a few things put away for emergencies, but not nearly enough. I'm planning on changing that for the future. I'm curious, how is your daughters dog? The one that was having anxiety issues, just curious. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge of art. You have good kids. I can't imagine not having taken in my Father. Financially he is very independent. He could have lived anywhere he wanted but I am glad he is with me. I enjoy doing for him like he did for me when I was young. You get what you put out and for me he deserves the world.

I worked on a prepper farm for about 3.5 years. Supporting the owners while working/learning to grow things, take care of plants, animals, etc. taught me a lot. Then, one of the partners started buying out Costco like apocalypse was imminent. Boxed, frozen and canned goods, commercially and at home, have expiration dates. I never saw so much waste in my whole life as I experienced there. Granted, they were new at this, and she listened to Alex Jones like he was God. I learned the extremes of prepping, which, if you're not inclined to homesteading as a lifestyle on a natural / i love it mindset, one can get out of balance. I had to leave before I had a nervous breakdown. I had a physical one after i left which taught me a lot more about the momentum of fear-based panicky behaviours, even for the best of intents. Perhaps I was too much their servant (and i was), and honestly, if i never weed, water, plant or mow ever again, I won't be sad (!!!). I was expected to perform as if I believed in the fear factor and I am not like that. I support others to believe what works for them, but when it got to be Stockhausen syndrome.... Not a good place. I started drawing in January 2016 as home based physical therapy. I recovered over time, though the mental took a lot longer. This season has triggered memories, but the work I've put in and continue to implement daily, has reminded me all the prep in the world won't count if things spoil, if people are less important than stuff, if fear doesn't demand a higher ground of service, generosity, smart behaviour under fire, and the ability to maintain one's inner peace when the shit hits the fan. We are preppers we rotate our food stuffs so nothing is wasted. I grew up on a farm in the midwest. Nothing was more dispised than waste. We grew large gardens canned vegetables and fruits, and our own meats. I have learned over the years its not the huge stockpile of food you need, its tools, alternate housing depending on where you live. Reliable vehicles, and means of self defense. I just hope it never comes to a time where we need to use all these things.
