Edit: I know Chaos is not Order and all that ya'll, that's not what I'm asking. The way she gets sad makes me imagine they have history beyond that and I'm wondering why she's sad, not angry.

These are the types of battle themes I love to see! Filling in a bit of the OST for a character who doesn't get a theme, similar to that Annoying Dog fight theme. Love how you used the motifs too! Mad Mew Mew's theme because Tasque Manager's a cat. The World Revolving because of her quote against Jevil. And even that bit of the Earthbound WOW! clip because Spamton's theme use it and Spamton for some reason has the Cat element!

You would either need to make a theme for every possible encounter or just pick one of the enemies theme. It's either way too much work or messes with the continuity. I think enemies that will never have a battle with different enemies could have their own themes (like wearwerewire or mauswheel) but not like virovirokun.
I have always felt like TM deserved a unique battle theme since she is very similar to Muffet. And I think what you came up here fits perfectly with her!
This is banging Tho I have to say Toby wouldn't use Mad Mew Mew so heavily - the use of Dummy! in BIG SHOT is clearly because there is a thematic tie-in, and a character tie-in, AND because Spamton is like one of those anomalous meta characters we get shadow crystals from or whatever. The only other Undertale songs we hear are tied to the characters that are present both specifically in Undertale and in Deltarune. So yeah this strikes me more as a crossover remix or something But still, I get why you did it and I love this in every other way!

One thing I didn't pick up on is that the range of instruments used is pretty interesting and well constructed. It sounds like it takes inspiration from not just the style and motifs of Pandora Palace, but at the start it sounds pretty Attack of the Killer Queen-esque So I think that was really well done, convincing considering Tasque Manager is kinda the area miniboss (I'm counting Rouxls Kaard as some kind of unexpected anomalous wild card here ;3) And then I should also comment on the use of the World Revolving motif. Yikes. Very very not a thing that I think would be referenced outside the Shadow Crystal bosses. But, I imagine the reason was to do with Tasque Manager being obsessed with order, i.e. the opposite of chaos, chaos! Still, I'm just tryna look at this from all angles and as I alluded to at first, I think this is really hecking cool! Especially now it's months later and I know what to expect, I can appraise it for its strengths as well as its shortcomings. (Also, I feel bad for directing so much criticism at someone who's just spent a lot of time making something super fun and fairly authentic sounding, so yeah well done to them)
I think it's supposed to be ironic, since Tasque Manager is the ideological opposite to Jevil, and will even call you out if you're wearing his item. Though, it perhaps should have used the beginning part of World Revolving, since the Freedom lietmotif has other connotations.
@@RahulMaru3507 People often seem to forget that that part is ALSO the freedom motif, the rhythm pairs perfectly with the first part of the freedom motif, and it also plays in Dialtone, a SPAMTON theme, not Jevil. Also, I know this was made a year ago, but the 9th anniversary newsletter revealed an unused Spamton theme, which ALSO uses that motif. So yea, it's still the freedom theme.
It kinda makes sense for tasque manager to utilise this leitmotif, (ignore that deltarune isnt undertale and jsut go with it) since its used for bosses in undertale that are not too important, but not too unimportant
Honestly I like the melding of Pandora Palace and Mad Mew Mew in the outro quite a bit; wish it was in the actual main battle theme. Still good, though.
i love this my only critique is that you didn't really change up the motifs enough it was mostly just the songs playing in a different setting i liked the world revolving part for the same reason i think you should've done a bit more to mad mew mew's theme
If we go forward with the theme of you fight the 2nd in command of the main villain of the previous chapter, It'd be great to see Tasque Manager get a more significant fight
